You said THEY have a poly relationship but they don't only Alice does. Meaning he is only with her while she is with 2 people and her GF could careless about him. What makes this worse is that they WERE poly but she got jealous and asked for him to cut all ties then she goes be poly without him and it's not like the MC is TRULY monogamous because he is not and he would have loved to be in a poly and he was before she killed that.

Alice has the MC as her primary partner and her girlfriend as her secondary.

The MC was a poly too but he got shot down to get cucked. I would not have as much problem with this ending if the mc was monogamous from the start with Alice then she wanted to be poly but that's not what happened. They were both poly but she didn't like that so she ended it then proceeded to be poly on her own.

I'm not saying that I don't like her bcz I really dig her character, but considering how you dealt with the game AND its endings, yeah... I agree with all these gentlemen here who said that you screwed up a really good game that most of us enjoyed playing. Loved the dialogue, the bickering, the girls (all of them), but it's obvious that you and the dev were and still are desperate to wrap it up and finally be done with it, fuck knows why. Given the lack of animations, variety of sex positions, dating and whatnot, at least the story should've been the game's saving grace, but you made that its self-destruct button.

That's a good question. It would've made sense if they kept fooling around with Leah for a while since Alice and Leah were a thing before she started dating the MC, but when we talk about marrying the main LI, sweet Alice and the MC should fly solo... no frustrated wannabe celebrities allowed.

I'm curious to see the harem ending.

Considering how bad the other endings were, I'm more excited to wait for a Milky City or Dual family update. The next one will probably be the "none" option, so don't expect to see the harem ending any time soon.

Just curious, not excited. After ME3 I don't get excited about how games will turn out in the end. And well, it's the devs story and they'll tell it like they feel they should. It's just a game, and I'm just an old fool.

This is a good example of what to and not to do for a dev.

In my opinion V.A. Laurie did a good job with the story AND the endings.
It felt rushed in the end, but it was a good story.

Some people doesn't like the ending of character x, y, z.
So what?
This is not a children's birthday party.


What should a dev do?
Make a poll "What do you think is the best ending for character a, b ... z"?
And where should he do this?
On Patreon, level 1, 5, 10, 20$?
Would it be different?
People who are not paying would still complain that they don't like the ending.

And that's even not considering a solo, a harem or whatever path.




I didn't like some of endings, but all in all, the story was great.
I didn't like the endings of Star Wars (original), or the endings of "Son's of Anarchy" and many other series and movies.

Does this make the series or movie bad?
In my opinion: No.


I find it hilarious that people expect a story to be or end like they want it to be, ignoring 95% of the story they enjoyed.

I liked the story, I have issues with the "Ending" chapter and I have written in detail how I would have done it differently, had a discussion about why they didn't, was happy with the back and forth and it's not a subject I am interested in repeating, if anyone is bothered enough they can find said posts on the Discord channel. I also, since I am a Patron, know that most patrons are happy with the endings.

It's one of two games that I still support, because I think it's worth supporting and the two Devs are the type of people who deserve support.

I look forward to the remaining endings and will look to any further projects as to whether I would support them again. I suspect my money will be going to Single Again in the short term.

Like so many gentleman said the story is so good, the girls are interesting. And yet after the point when the father comes back it all goes to shit, the pacing of the story is quite good so of course people gonna notice how axed and rush the endings are. Melody ending was a little rushed but still good and showed us the growth of Melody her interactions with the MC became more serious but still keeping her troll personality. Leah and Katrina endings dosent deserve the atention or the read honestly, thats how bad they were, such a shame that i honestly liked Leah and was hoping for a ending where she fixes her problems and pursues the mc more agressively but nop. Then Alice ending, is like im sorry but a complete trash. Alice is supose to be the romantic girl of the game, and she expresses jealousy during the game when you get involved with the other girls addint to that you can refuse the thressome scenes with Leah makes 0 sense that her SOLO ending, involves swinging and sharing. So the choices become irrelevant. And for the gentleman who argument that she is jelous of her friends because the bond of friendship betwen them and the mc, isint the same as the solo adventures in her ending. Thats false, its explicit that they had cases where they got feelings for another person and how to handel that. For me this ending is hearbreaking because they butchered the more romantic girl of the game, she failed her goal of helping kids and become sex therapist, and the point i got was that she settled for the mc and he was fine with it, and the mc still failed to do something that excites him in life...

Poly means REALTIONSHIP with multiple people what the MC and her did was swinging/open relationship type of deal where they only have each other but have sex with other people wither it's solo or together until she became poly with her girlfriend after telling him to end it with Leah to be with her only.

You can literally add what she did to any scenario you want and it would be fucked up let alone REALTIONSHIPS. For example:

You are both actors and are happy then your partner comes to you and says being actors would ruin your relationship because she is jealous of your fame or people lusting after you or whatever and because of the time spent apart so she says she wants to stop being an actress and in order for you to be with her you need to stop too. You say ok even tho you love acting, you love her more and so that's what you do, you both get 9-5 jobs and get married and settle down then all of a sudden she decides to be an actress again and only her can do that and so she does become an actress while you keep working that 9-5 that she asked for.


You both always fight over the last piece of pizza so she says no one can eat the last peace anymore we will just give it away then one night you see her eating it and that's how it's going to be from now on. Literally you can add it to anything and it would be a bitch move.

She didn't have to say anything, she was not going to stay with Leah and only wanted him so she forced his hands to be with her then she took someone only for her while he had none because she would not like it.

I liked the Alice ending unlike others on here. It was basically a happily ever after story with the two of them but also as a poly couple. Alice's GF in the last bit was best friends with the M/C. She just not interested in a sexual relationship. That would be like a Harem ending with Melody still not interested in a sexual relationship with Leah or Alice. No problem there as it was explained in the final closing paragraphs of Alice's ending. Each poly relationship is different and defined by the individual rules set by all involved. There is no cucking of the M/C as some have argued. He was still having his fun with others apart from and together with Alice over the years on different levels and for different amounts of time. The story stated that others stayed or left as the years went on but Alice and the M/C stayed true to each other in their love and devotion. I am interested to see what the Harem ending will be like because the only thing I felt sad about with the Alice ending was Leah being written out of it romantically. From the beginning of their three-way romance I was always hoping for the three to continue off into the sunset. I'm guessing that Leah was written out to make Alice the prime L/I in the relationship.

Yeah, it gives Alice the ending you'd expect to see the player character receive in one of these games. She's more of a main character than the "main character", she gets to satisfy both sides of her bisexuality while being in a "committed" relationship with the PC.

When we are told that each of the Love Interests is going to get a solo ending and then we will see a harem ending and an "alone" ending that is what I expect - each of the Love Interests in a solo relationship with the MC in their endings, then an ending with all of them, and then one where the PC ends up alone in a garbage can regretting his life choices.

Up until this point all of the solo endings were just that. Now we receive the "solo" ending for Alice and find out that she isn't satisfied with a life with just the PC, she has to have the PC and another woman, a woman who wants nothing to do with the PC. How is that a "solo" ending? I hope that when all of the endings are done the PC will be given the choice to accept Alice and her +1 or not, if the PC chooses to say no then they can go with the "alone" ending or go hunt down one of the other Love Interests and apologize for being an idiot who thought that Alice actually wanted him.

I know that won't happen, that would be expecting way too much from this game. This was a surprisingly well done and even romantic game until suddenly the dad showed up and everything collapsed. Alice was the one love interest I really felt was going to end romantically, with a wedding, kids, and fond memories... Truly disappointed that they dev team decided Alice needs to be able to fuck other people besides the PC. She really is the main character.

I get that that it's arguable Alice was always poly, but after experimenting with Leah, I'd argue she was mostly gay but occasionally made an exception for the MC, but mostly committed to being Leah while eventually looking to occasionally play with the MC and even Karina (despite her being her girlfriend's little sister). IMHO the only time they acted like an actual couple was when they went away for the weekend, just themselves. That was Alice at her most romantic with the MC, and it's what led many of us who were hoping at some point Alice would come back to us (MC). Specifically in this scenario, she would realize how much she was still in love with him and was finally be able to commit solely to him without the crutch of still needing to pursue multiple lovers.

It's pretty chickenshit that the MC is not given the option to keep seeing Melody or Hailey while married to Alice as long as Alice was going to continue seeing her girlfriend. One thing is occasionally allowing Alice to have some fun on the side with or without her husband (the MC) with some throw-away flings here and there with NO EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT other than to your spouse, but it's a complete shit-show if you're going to be ok with your wife involved in multiple, separate, serious, long-term relationships, especially if the MC, having sown his wild oats and dated around, realizes Alice is his one and only true love and does not need to pursue another woman on the side, unlike his wife.

At this point Alice really has achieved MC status if she is in fact the one who gets an occasional part-time husband, while still involved with her longer-term serious girlfriend who wants absolutely nothing to do with him. I can't believe at this point said girlfriend would not only be ok with this arrangement, allowing her lover (Alice) to marry a man no less, but not try in the future to undermine their marriage and possibly NTR her away from him at soon as her nostalgia of being with an old boyfriend wears off and she's ready to recommit to her. After all, Alice has difficulty staying monogamous, so this marriage is just another convenient 'experimental' phase, appealing to her heteronormative ideal right? At what point has Alice ever done anything to show she's actually in love with the MC and prove her commitment to him?
