Hey NeonGhosts, I played the dark route over the last few days and will continue with romance route and come back with more thoughts. But for now: I will say that I enjoyed the update, no surprise there!

And why would Lucien assault Risa? She's the daughter of a very wealthy family and Lucien is smart enough to know this. He clearly goes for women that are helpless and won't bring him trouble.

Can easily assume Lucien is smart enough to just not go after more dangerous prey..

I'm not so sure I buy into Lucien never assaulted her because of her family. I get the feeling he just doesn't care and just smart enough not to get caught but isn't actually that smart when it comes to getting what he wants. As Risa basically said he is blackmailing her which can be just as bad if word got out to her family. id have to play the conversation again but I'm pretty sure Risa said she never had to do any of work the other girls do because she was able to talk him into letting her just send him Rich folks.

NeonGhosts This game is just amazing. Great story, power dynamics, and hitting great kinks. I find myself truly conflicted and torn on what kind of MC I want to be to each character. When the primary complaint from people is "we want more!" in various and sometimes negatively framed forms (this girl sucks/this update was small), I do hope you can morph that feedback into its true positive message - you're creating something people like and want more of. To be honest, I start to get worried when new characters appear because I'm scarred by the Lost TV show that spent 6 seasons opening new plot lines that they never resolved, but that's about me, not your choices.

Really do still hope you figure out how to take bitcoin payments! I mean, crypto is part of the story..

I actually had the realization the other day that, if I wanted to put out some content in between updates, as I've talked about, these What If scenes may be perfect for that. I could turn themi into little mini-games. I've already got the sets 'built,' and I could basically just drop the player into the middle of them, with a little exposition from the Uatu-like narrator. Lots of fun (and not-so-fun) possibilities.. What if Guy had purchased Chesty Cheetahs, and done an impromptu photoshoot with one of the waitresses? What if Guy had asked Pepper to accompany him to pick out a swimsuit, instead of Gabby? What if Ashe had died in the accident that maimed Wren? Lots of possible alternate realities out there..

Is Madison only going to feature later or is she not a main girl?

NeonGhosts Is there a route for Madison, or is she just side character in Gabby's story?

Madison does in fact have a planned route! But, when I got to thinking about it, it made sense to me to make it a little contingent on Gabby's path, and the outcome of Madison's relationship with her husband. I really like Madison, and even wrote 90% of a short story for her.. But, then I kind of abandoned the idea of doing those as blog pieces, since they often have story-necessary stuff that'd fit better in-game. But, it would've shown her younger, wilder days, including how she eventually met Ryan and Gabby.

After reading that I kind of want to play the corruption route but without seeing anything too dark.

Nah, it’ll go a bit longer. I could end it there.. But, I think it’ll end around Chapter 12 or 14. I kind of want to get to a point where most of the characters have their relationship trajectories established. That way, in Season 2 it’s less about figuring out where you stand with a girl, and more about solidifying that relationship.

Right now, Nicki’s basically set. Ashe is about 90% there. Gabby and Brittani will be pretty soon. Viola, Mason, and Risa a little after that.

If I could get all those relationships firmed up/locked in before the end of Season One, that’d be ideal.

I like where this is going. Good blueprint i daresay.

I think you should try Risa's sex scene dude. It was kind of romantic and it shows she has a few problems imo.

lol last few days since playing the update I just want to replay the Risa path once the MC leaves the drug den. I loved taking care of her , then taking her to the motel room and showing her affection but showing I didn't take her there for sex. I just loved her reaction and how she hugged and thanked Guy when he said he didn't want to take advantage. It's probably my top 3 favorite scenes in the game.

If you played a save from v0.59, you're missing a variable for that scene. Load an earlier save to fix it. It needs to be from the end of v0.57 or earlier.

Yeah, you could be right I'm not super sure. When it comes to stuff like this, I feel like I'm reading animal entrails or something. I would suck so bad at writing these kinds of characters, as I just don't have the right mind for it haha.

But I think I remember that convo. Think Risa never mentioned him ever trying to force her to do any 'work', I mean involving her body; he was just making her put the poor girls at ease. She told him she couldn't do that, but instead she could send rich connections his way, like that banking VP.

One of the things I love about this game is, even though we mention dark routes and corruption routes and stuff to make it easier to communicate, the game gives sooooo much more freedom than that; I mean, within reason of course. Like, even playing the dark route, which is surely the most limiting logically speaking, I still have so many directions to go at every choice juncture. It's honestly kinda overwhelming, you know content FOMO lol I can't even imagine how difficult it is to plan it and write it all out.

For example, in this chapter, I could take Risa to the hotel in her state to... I mean, you know.. orrr, I could just decide not to be that evil and let her wake up, but still be more mean during sex where it's the edge of rape, but maybe not quite there, legally speaking. Or, I can just take her to the diner, have access to Pepper's corrupt/dark scene, and then follow Risa to house and be presented with three choices: grow a heart and sincerely help her; refuse to help her; or merely pretend to help her while planning to keep your own evil interests, and to some extent Lucien's, intact. And then you get access to her scene there as long as you didn't refuse to help.

So much varied diabolic shit lmfao If you really want to try the routes out, but don't want to see the scenes, maybe what you could do is right when you get to the choice to.. be evil, you can turn text skip on even for text you haven't seen yet, but make sure it still stops at choices. And then just skip through until you get to the choice to finish/cum. Then turn it back off and play normal again. Maybe that will make it easier to get through.
