Does anyone else have any thoughts on the ending/s? I'm pretty malleable based on feedback.

I'm coming to the idea of omitting the epilogue since the final route is already conclusive as is.

Only that some nod to a poly route might be nice. (I'll totally admit it's one of my preferred kinks so I'm totally self-advocating here!)

The revelation that Moxie really didn't like the open relationship she and MC had was a bit of a shock although it made sense contextually. I can totally see her not wanting to share MC with the whole kingdom. However, she might not mind a poly relationship with for instance: Sundowner and Prisma (arguably her closest friends) and perhaps even Selene, Celeste and Dusklight (current and future rulers of the kingdom).

Another poly group not including Moxie could involve some subset of Butters, Honeycrisp, Blossom and Anna. Anyway, you get the idea.

There are certain characters that the MC has more of a fuckbuddy/FWB relationship with, but he seems to really care for a bunch of them so choosing one gf to end the game with is a pretty tough choice especially if you're a polyamorist. ;-)

Definitely enjoyed the game though, and honestly, I really didn't expect to. MLP and Furry content is not something that interests me in general. However, your excellent execution won me over! Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Edit: I haven't seen all of the endings yet, but I just watched Honeycrisp's ending and that was kind of what I had in mind, although maybe a bit bigger if you know what I mean? Maybe some of the others have something similar, and I just haven't seen it yet.

I liked the ending, felt like it was sweet. Didn't care that it had recycled bits, I liked the epilogue overall. It gave it a finality. I don't need impregnation or poly or for each ending to be drastically different. I think you should leave it and move onto your next project. It seems I am in the minority about it but the entire game was sweet, lewd and fun, but sweet.

Haven't experienced the end yet but I agree chasing perfection in the ending should be viewed as a dangerous never ending trap. Don't just drop everything and rush off but realize it's never going to be exactly what everybody wants and the best part of the game is going to be the various routes and dates and lewd scenes along the way anyhow.

Art style reminded me of, but afaik, isn't Fatelogic. AFAIC you should commission him to do future art. He has the best pony art style.

Excuse me, but what the fuck are you talking about? Yon went on a tirade about the characteristics of equine anatomy and then you drop this absolute gem? Fatelogic's art may be good, but it's not even pony style, much less so the best. They simply draw weirdly colored elf girls with a tail, and that's about it.

Their heads and faces have literally no resemblance to a pony's, and even their ears are that of a freaking elf. Most of the time he doesn't even given them horns or wings. And when he does given them horns he fucks it up by putting it in the middle of their foreheads, almost right between their eyebrows.

That's somewhat upsetting to hear all the endings blow hard. But I suppose I'm not surprised. I think I just got through the prologue. And I gotta say. This is hands down the most DEGENERATE pornographic media I have ever seen! Bar second to nothing at all. I've been collecting this kind of stuff for over 20 years. And I've got well over 30 thou I've read a lot of media, watched a lot of media, played a lot of media. This is literally more depraved than anything else.

As far as HEALTHY expressions of porn go, were not talking about sad and evil things. And I rather not think about that. But this game... Maybe part of it is the skin it wears, MLP of all the wholesome media. Never watched any of that, never was tangentially involved with the brony community. There is some blatant political messaging that appears to have been added in as an afterthought. And based on what some of you have said, the world building falls apart almost immediately. So it really is a red pill for those of us, ideologically inclined. To see how the passion project turned out. But its still not a 1.0 release yet. Maybe I really should be trying to sell my consulting services as an author to some of these more active projects...

That aside. This shit seems pretty cool!! I hope the dev is able to complete this project to a level they feel proud of! And as an aspirant pornographic artist and coder myself. This game is a very good example to see what works, what doesn't. And how to engage the player. Speaking of which. Super Giant released a game, I believe it was Super Giant. Pyre, it's like alien blood sports. Super cool. But it has a visual novel element to the narrative progression. I really feel like people could learn a lot about their own renpy games by looking at how dialogue, and characters are presented in the game. Like. Its got a feeling to it. That's what you want to sell to an audience. You want to sell them an captured feeling. A wish fulfillment.

In terms of politics and ideology, I want to reinforce that Arcadia and the FwB world are completely unique entities with no bearings on the real world. Just like how the politics of Lord of the Rings has very little to do with our world. Appreciating this new world for what it is, rather than comparing it to our own is a recurring theme of FwB. Although I do hope the world building doesn't fall apart as you say; it's not really the focus, so you may be surprised when certain creatures, ideas or technologies appear. However, I think that level of unpredictability that's one of the most fun parts about experiencing a new world, and it's an important tool for me, as I try to introduce a unique experience with each route.

That does seem logically consistent in universe. I didn't mean to criticize it in that way. My caveat is that, this isn't how literature exists. And you even make this conceit a few sentences later. And let me just say, I didn't really phrase my post properly. I don't dislike the game, or fault you as an artist for your choices. It was just a stream of consciousness dictation I posted without further interrogation.

And as far as feedback. I really really suggest. This might just be a pet peeve of mine, being an outsider to VN conventions. But the ... thing. I only just realized what the auto feature actually is, and why it exists. Because all of the games I've played up until now, I've explicitly advanced text boxes myself. Every time. But even with an auto feature. I just seems unnecessary to have effectively blank text boxes. Maybe its a limitation of the framework, because it absolutely ubiquitous.

That's disappointing. I liked the endings. Ah well. I guess I got the ending I wanted of committing to Moxie so I can delete it now.

The art is wonderful but I'm not sure of what to think in regards to character personalities. Moxie seems very nice but a few others seem a bit too far into the mean side for my tastes. I guess I'm just someone who'd prefer source accurate personalities. Great work on this though, it's very excellently made! Expansive too.

Edit: After playing through this some more, clearly I judged personalities too soon. Practically everyone is portrayed in a satisfying way (except maybe Melody who takes the insult game a little too hard, I did like how her story pans out though. I ended up liking her). My only critique would be that Moxie seems to be pushed too hard for "canon ending gf" and Butters/Ruby were a little lacking in terms of CG variety compared to others. I'm a bit biased towards them (especially butters) so I would have loved to see them go on just a little further. Hot damn, Butters/Selene/Celeste though. I'll check back in after I see some endings. Still have a couple routes to finish up. This is some of the greatest degenerate yet wholesome filth I've ever seen. Bravo.
