EN :
I really like this game, the story, the mystery...
but something is sorely missing.... the rest.

seriously the wait for the sequel is too heartbreaking to wait

FR:
J'aime beaucoup ce jeu, l'histoire, le mystère...
mais quelque chose manque cruellement.... le reste.

sérieusement l'attente de la suite est trop déchirante pour attendre

I am not trying to be a dick - I am just asking inquisitively - when are you thinking the next version is going to be out? I know you had issues, but you said the game was not delayed (well technically you said it was on track). So I was just curious. I am not rushing - just setting possible expectations for myself should you wish to disclose. Cheers.

Greetings to you, dear audience, dear contributors.

A quick note to keep you informed of the progress of the project, which is not suffering any delay for the moment.

The habit and the breaking in of the renderings, allows me now to save a lot of time in setting up the scene, in rendering time and quality!

I'm still struggling with the code though, because don't forget, I'm learning-by-doing.

Thank you for your patience, as I can't give a definite release date.
Not before the end of March is the only certainty I have and I will try to do my best to meet your expectations as soon as possible.

See you guys later!

Well, it dull yellow... Maybe change the font size by 4 times the size and use the birghtest font color if possible. I am sure there will be others who will still missed that and will ask when it will be...

Have a great day and be safe.

There's only 2 of certain text colors. A bright one and a dark one. What the site needs is a feature that when someone scrolls past the post bells whistles and flashing lights start up with a person yelling read this post read this post maybe even prevent scrolling till you click that you read it.

Can someone share the patreon news about the game please?
Sure ! Here it is :

Some news about the game

My friends here is some news...

I've been thinking a lot these last few days about what I want to do with my life.
Can I continue in my path? Do I see myself ending up as a porn producer?
What about the legacy I would leave to my children?
Unfortunately, the answer to the question "Should I continue?" was obvious to me...

FUCK YEAAAAAAH!!!!! MOAR BOOBS MAN!!!!!!

More seriously!

I finished the renderings today for all the scenario stuff.
It's a little bit more than 500 renders (at least for those who didn't exclude any content).

Now comes the crunchy part if I may say so...

My goal is to arrive by the end of April/beginning of May to:
  • Post treatment/retouching.
  • Proofread and correct typos.
  • Model the gui (small buttons for the interface) for the map.
  • Code the map and the related events with a system including several phases in a day.
  • Select the music and mix it (a funny part I must admit).
  • Translate the game in French (I know that most of you don't care).
  • Compressing the images (or else the game would be about 4go...).
  • And last but not least, debugging......................................................

Then there is the uploading of the game for windows/linux and for Mac, which with my connection takes no less than 2 days (yes seriously and think that I have to upload it to be tested by friends and that if there are serious errors, I have to correct, redo the packages and re-upload...)
Concerning the gui, I make them myself and don't pump anything from other games. I can be inspired by them but not more.

I also worked a lot on the map and it turned out to be complicated.
Thanks to a combination of software, I was able to achieve a satisfactory result but the city remains schematic and everything is not necessarily to scale.
I didn't want to add a simple plan like in Lunar Choosen or a city picture like in Midnight paradise. (I'm not criticizing the games mentioned but I'm using them as an example. I could start comparing myself to them the day I reach their level of success).
In short I lost years of life on this f****** map!

I won't say more to not spoil the fun but it's crunch time for me...

I love you guys!

lol I can't wait to see the fruits of your hard work... Im sure it will be worth it! but of course you can always iterate and improve it even more in future updates

Let's say that for this update, I lay the foundations of what will be the final game. And then everything will be built around this gameplay.
No more half-sandboxes.
I'm getting closer to a gameplay like Milfy-city or Midnight Paradise for those who know.

There won't be many sandbox events for this version but I'll be able to build around them.

This is obviously much more difficult for me than a kinetic novel, especially being a coding neophyte, but I think players will appreciate the effort.
I hope so...

as a programmer myself I often feel the urge to use my coding expertise to help struggling developers of VNs I like get their work done faster, I kinda wish I had more free time XD
