Yup Mentally unstable people at times comes down to insecurity and hypocrisy. Even if it is not their preference they will find a way to try to ruin it. It’s just ironic if the roles are reversed in the story all the complains disappear.

So far he is working on chapter 2 and posting some in progress images. As to chapter 3 and further, it is still unclear, he is also thinking of quiting patreon and doing it on pay per update basis like on itchio.

Kemono isn't dead, it entirely by users will that it gets updated so it entirely depends on amount of patrons hence patreon with over 4k get updated freuqnetly unlike those with a few hundreds. So you can only wait or join the discord
