True, but we also need our game up there given that Steam's userbase and the profits from Steam are probably 4 or 5 times higher than every other sales site combined for games, so it's really, really important you get your game up there if you're a dev.I think the solution is just to not buy porn games on steam.
There are other options, yeah?
If we make a lot of money, that'll enable us to do a lot more stuff with the sequel and future games, versus the game flopping and we don't get much money, which means development time will take a lot longer/we'll be limited on things because we'll have to budget how much we can spend each month on things like SFX, music, voicework, translations, etc.
One of the issues with this though is that it's an opt out feature; the minute someone plays FF, gets 10 minutes in and gets an achievement, they're likely to freak out and slam the "refund" button because they can't figure out how to disable achievements and it's just popped up on all their friend's feeds that they just got an achievement for a porn game.Anyone who buys a game can simply opt out of the game's badge(s) by not crafting the trading cards they automatically receive from playing. The feature badge option I described earlier is something the user selects by their own volition. Owners of the game can also hide achievements for it, or ownership of the game entirely; Steam implemented that option around the same time they began selling porn games for obvious reasons. You can even hide it from "Recently played" or "Now playing".
That, and it might make it kind of redundant that the game has built-in achievements, but we'll see, it might be something we enable down the road.
