NTR is traditionally defined as a loved one or lover getting assaulted. You have no relationship with these women until you yourself attack their town and have sex with them. After that, the option to allow them to get assaulted is no longer available. Therefore, no, I would still not consider this NTR.
You do realize that is optional content right? Literally if you want the vanilla scene, just choose 'Enslave' rather than 'Pillage' after you conquer each city. You literally pretty much have to opt to give the crew the "free rape fest' card and even then, that would make it rape NOT NTR. NTR is having your love interest stolen. Opting for pillage means that they never become your love interest to begin with
Welp, this poster said it much better than I did. Oh well, at least some of you know what you're talking about.
Having some trouble recruiting Bacchus, I have seen the event in the bottom left town where they talk about Saladin, and the event in top right town where they talk with the other pirate gang. But Bacchus still refuses to join.
Bacchus requires two events in the two different towns, and it seems like you've got both. Not sure why he won't. Have you explored all the tavern/bar events?
any tips on sunking red dragon ship? tried to recruit all of em, it's hard af.
I'd try to use the higher leveled characters such as Marius and Saladin, and getting the best items available (e.g. the legendary items from the sunken ship); recruiting all of them is extremely difficult, esp since IIRC they've got a mechanic who completely restores the ship's health. My advice is to paralyze or disable the mechanic and focus the ship with bombardment specialists.
was in the middle of a fight and got this first time it happened but thought it'd be worth reporting.
Oh boy, that looks like a plugin error. I've got no idea as I didn't touch that particular plugin nor anything related to it. Do you happen to know exactly what you were doing? (e.g. which skill were you using?)
Tested this, it's specific to upgrading a caravel with speed. It locks out the speed upgraded versions of every other ship as if you have speed-upgraded versions of those, too, but you don't. Steps to reproduce: 1) upgrade a caravel with speed 2) make any other kind of ship and choose the upgrade dialogue, speed will be grayed out.
Thanks! I'll check it out and attempt to fix it. Appreciate the details; it makes it much easier to diagnose.
At the end of the game you can create save and you can start new game with this save - you keep everything including ships and units, but game starts anew.
Haha, yeah I just call it the epilogue in the translation because the last game I translated (Harem Fantasy), people were complaining that I used the term "New Game+" when it wasn't exactly a New Game+, but rather a continuation and extension of the endgame. I'm curious on what you've done, since I've tried playing a brand new game after finishing the original and it just starts over, with all my progress reverted to a blank slate (in fact, the Japanese states that selecting that option will basically send you to the start without any progress).
Does anyone know if there is a way to sell or remove owned ships? The reason I ask is I have like 4 caravels.
Nope, not that I know of. You can replace old ships once you've got 8 of them (in order to make room for new ones).
To recruit him you need click button "party hard" three or four times in east-something town (second sea, north) and then go to Rome inspired town and party hard there.
Other tips:
To recruit everyone you need Moondrops (Saladin), Demon Fan (Tengu Lady), Troian horse (Hector) and dogfood (Dog and cat-girl).
Bacchus is very strong fighter to capture pirates, blinding helps to survive.
It seems impossible to bang everyone in first playthrough, because there is not enough items to bribe Emilio, princess Naonao and Lugia in the same time. Or maybe you just need good combination of items.
I think there's more than enough to woo all the girls, but I admit I cheated and used a save editor (I was more interested in translating than becoming a complete master of the game, lol). I think 2-3 items are enough to win their affections anyway.
wouldn't it be great if people just used 7zip for packaging japanese locale files instead of shitty zip format that screws everything up?
Ah, I used the generic Windows compression. I do use 7zip constantly, and I'll take your advice to use that to compress the files in the next patch, but I'll probably stick to the zip format even for that. IMHO, nobody really has a problem over at ULMF with it, since they're used to changing their locales for JRPGs, but being slightly newer here, I'm not really used to the F95Zone policy of everyone expecting stuff like that.
