Yes, I noted that too many people are oversensitive about NTR... in my case, I don't enjoy that content at all and I just don't play it... if they make it avoidable, I play it... simple as that

I will never understand why people get so angry to the point of insulting devs when all you have to do is not play anymore and find another game that does not have that content... at most you can ask them to make it avoidable, but if they decide not to do it because in the end it's their game... as I said before, just play another game.

I hope that if the dev of this game decides to implement NTR,
that makes it avoidable and there is a clear decision not to go that way.
that way all players, whether they like it or not, can enjoy the game anyway and make their decision.

Of course I have no idea if doing that is twice as hard to do, but it is always good to have that option in case that the game is not exclusively about NTR.

You start of with this beautiful stunning looking GF. But as the game proceeds you (The player, not the MC) actually find out that she is a selfish entitled bitch, that is only looking out for herself. Meanwhile back at the home, your best friend for 10 years, that secretly had a crush on you for most of the time, will not make a move on you, or except any romance from you, since you are currently in a relationship and she is pure of heart, she does not want to be the "Other" woman.

So how do you, as a writer, proceed the plot.
a) Have your current GF cheat on you, giving you a reason to break it of with her and proceed with best friend.(NTR)
b) Have your best friend find a BF, forcing you (the MC) to confront reality and try to win her back (NTR)
c) Be the same kind of douche as your current GF, cheat on her, or break it of with her for no reason and go for Best friend.

You see how the NTR sensitivity is in my mind squashing creativity? There is a reason why Hollywood films go with either option A or option B and never with option C. The opposite is happening here on F95 with majority of games. They have to go with option C.

After 3 years on this site, for me it's refreshing if there is a game that have a bit of balls on this topic. Not going to advertise, but there is one dev on here that does not write NTR, but also does not give a fuck about his female characters having sex with other people. That is refreshing, exhilarating and definitely not boring.

You know... I understand what you mean and I agree.

If there are people who like A and B, or more extreme NTR... I would really like developers to take all the freedoms they want... as it should be.
And they should not stop the development of more mature and realistic stories, more complex character and everything that implies just because some people do not like that kind of content and seek to "censor it" in some way.
As for C... the same as with A and B... absolute freedom of creativity for developers

Personally, I think that creativity can be developed in all three options (A, B, C or others) and be fun.
In Hollywood there are examples of A, B and C of all kinds... from very bad to excellent... everything is in the hands of the writers and directors... in the games it is the same, the developers are the ones who make the difference.

Like you - and many years on this site, I can say that I don't know what NTR is to most people but I know what it is to me. I have always felt that it had to do with your relationship to the person you have. You have to be 1) committed exclusive and 2) in a relationship. Those two things dont happen often in games before people cry NTR. Take BB for example and the constant hate for Eric. The thing is none of those girls are "yours" until you get rid of Eric. He was there first and was a romantic rival - not someone stealing your girls.

Same thing with "The Tyrant". Hell they had to shame the developer to put in a "No NTR" mode. You show up and your family of 3 girls are living with gang members and drug dealers. Mom is doing drugs, and screwing lots of guys. Big sis has a boyfriend and doing porn. Little sis is virginal and learning. None of them are yours and you can screw them, but not keep them "exclusive" since they already have other things going on with other people. This is not NTR.

Whatever I will get flamed or what ever for saying that but at the end of the day, if you want nothing like real life, then okay, don't play games that are more like real life. I like the real life games, with emotions and good writing where not every girl is a virgin, and there to be your slave. Personal preference.

Thanks for understanding, but if you intend to put it, you should put the tag as soon as possible, so we don't get too deep in the game, we skipped it beforehand so as not to get a bitter taste in the mouth. Although the only thing I wouldn't want to be cheated on would be this beautiful little thing, the others or others don't care.
And as I said, I hope that if you do, it will be because of your will, not by external influence.

As for NTR for me, I have seen and witnessed destruction, deaths, families destroyed, lives thrown away, I am over 40, so I have seen a lot, and definitely, betrayal does not bring anything good, and for me, not even in fiction. it is acceptable.

100% And I do enjoy some mindless "I'm the center of the universe" fun for sure. Like 80% of the games on here.

But sometimes I enjoy a deeper story with some good sex scenes. And you do get them without "jealousy", but I just think that people are so sensitive about this topic, it restricts developers in what they truly want to write.

There are some good games with horrifying scenes in them that are a real gut punch in terms of emotions. (Acting Lessons, The De Luca Family). IMO these games evoke much stronger emotions then jealousy. Rage, Anger, sorrow. It's what makes these games masterpieces. (OK Acting Lessons is debatable, but no one can argue about The De Luca Family)

But people are so scared to explore the jealousy emotion, since the dreaded NTR tag is as surefire to kill a game of before it started (Unless it is an NTR game written for the NTR crowd)

I like some of my games to have me getting revenge on a cheating GF, or winning my girl back or competing against a rival for the same girl etc.

This is not about this fetish.

This is about normal day to day things that happens everyday around us. People cheat, people fall in love, people have a crush on someone already in a relationship, people gets betrayed. It's all things that happens around us all the time.

I like my games to have some semblance of reality. You do not get all the girls. Some girls have BFs. The slut actually had to fuck other people to become a slut. You sometimes have to beat your rival to get the girl.

There are plenty of non-NTR games that have other males also having sex, like Big Brother, Depraved Awakenings, Becoming a rock star, Jessica O'Neil Hard News, New Corral City etc. etc.

The problem as soon as a Dev puts an scene in line with the plot where a nice looking girl is hooking up with another character, everyone starts to scream NTR and the Dev starts changing his story and begs forgiveness for daring to put NTR in his game. He gets accused of false advertising and threatened with dropping support for him writing his story.

I'm just getting sick of this mentality, that you can force the dev to change his story by threatening boycots and the rest.

Rant over...I beg forgiveness from P_S_Y_C_H_O for derailing this threat. There's not even NTR in his game or the tags...so not sure why everyone is talking about it now. I guess I'm just sick and tired of players posting "If you put NTR in this game I'm out" (Then the NTR turns out not to actually be NTR at all, just the player being insecure about a girl having sex with someone other then the MC)
