Ah, I thought I mentioned it in one of the free devlogs, but it was actually in one of the paid ones. Basically, the stoner girl's top was always meant to be see-through, but we fucked up and didn't realize until now.

And yes, I agree with you. With the new underwear system, that's a lot more possible, some underwear itself is see-through, and if you pay attention to pearl's beachwear, her beach dress is slightly transparent (you can see her silhouette).



Other outfits are similar because, yeah, transparency is cool, especially if it isn't very evident it is transparent at first.

This week is pretty light on development. No particular reason, we are working on other things, but this is what we have, though.

As simple as the name says, Lapis will crash in the lighthouse for now. As we mentioned we want to follow the general storyline, but we also want to change a couple of things to better fit both the story we want to tell and how the events have changed since the first one.

Also, now positions change dynamically as well, so they may change any time you enter the room. We want to do this for most places where a single character spends all day, in this case, well, the mentors and Lapis do. Also, Lapis can't fly right now, which sucks, would have been cute for her to fly with Angelite.

As mentioned before, we are adding things we need so the story can move forward and so you can explore more of this world. We have various ways of movement planned, but we are going to use the warp pad a lot, for obvious reasons, and I really enjoy expanding it, because this world has so many different places you can actually explore.

One of those places is obviously the Kindergarten.

For those in different support tiers, they should know why these are somewhat important, though, but I hope you enjoy just exploration on itself. We want to add all sorts of references and easter eggs as well, so you feel rewarded just by exploring!

Also, we have new music courtesy of Spread, pretty good as always, you guys need to listen to the complete stuff, but for now, here is how it starts in some of the maps.

Since we are in the writing phase, it's time to lay out everything we will need for quests and such. One of such locations is this. Can you get who it belongs to? Shouldn't be hard, lol.

A rather short update, at least for the public. As mentioned previously, the writing stage should take a couple of months, while also implementing the logic and everything else necessary for certain quests. Also, small details like the signs that lead to certain areas and certain items. We are debating how much of these we need, but the cool thing about this system is that one can be re-utilized in multiple areas. We mostly don't know if we should add it to NPCs, like gems and the such. What do you think?

Sorry, headache so I can't really focus well. What I meant are signs. Places got signs when you hover over them, so I was wondering if it was necessary to add signs over NPCs or gems when you hover over them as well. It can be used for other things, like the gallery. But it could be overkill, don't want to make ElFatGato do a lot of these for every single character, at least the girls.

personally i agree it does kinda feel like overkill, imo id say just stick to signs for locations since thats super helpful but could keep the idea in mind for the future since it could be a nice aesthetic detail if theres time and interest for it later on

I second this. It's pretty intuitive as is, I usually understand what I'm doing so a sign wouldn't be necessary.

We don't plan to add a lot of house interiors in this update, although they are done, we do have a very good reason not to, wink wink.

Last week I asked our supporters if they are ok with us sharing weeks-old content for free, and they seem to be ok with it, so we are doing just that so you guys don't miss out, albeit after some weeks.

Starting with the new Menu style we made that looks a lot better to use than the old one, in my opinion at least. Everything is better positioned, my biggest fear is how it will work in the android port, at which point I can just make the buttons have more separation in that port only.

Then a favorite of mine, Barb! She is the mailwoman, of course, and she is yet another townie in Beach City. She is pretty amusing, and I love her personality.

Lastly, it seems like we finally achieved the 300$ goal for a new artist. I was planning on looking for one starting next month, but I didn't have to look a lot, and it seems we may have one starting, well, today. I just hope the 300$ stays where they are...

Speaking of which, starting next month, we will change to upfront payments as well, if that's alright with y'all.

sounds like things are goin great so far, fingers crossed it keeps goin so well :3

as for the startin bit, youd be surprised how many people are fine with older stuff gettin showed publicly, most people support people cause they like what they do not because they expect exclusive perks. this is why ive always been a firm believer in early access over paywalls, both influence people to support but early access still lets supporters feel special while not ostracizing the fans who cant afford to support for whatever reason. like me personally i would support if i could but i dont have a job, i basically have to leech off my parents and needless to say im not comfortable askin them if i can borrow a few bucks a month to support a porn game lol

the exception being wip stuff id say is fine to paywall, since its just an extra thing thatll be part of the finished version everyone has access to later but in this case id say its a good idea to use older stuff like this in situations like this since there isnt much new stuff to say so its serving as a sorta filler update lol
