Hmmm, that's strange. The screenshot key is S. On phones, you should be able to make screenshots using your phone app for that. There should also be a button on your options to delete some old data, so use it if you can, that COULD be the reason things are going crazy. This is honestly the only case I've at least heard about it.
Thank you for the timely responses especially given the time, I will attempt to redownload and see if that works, you do good work and I feel its important you know that.

I finally made the gift system works. It works for what I need to, the problem is really the presentation. I wanted to do something uniform, you may recall how gems react to their clothing being changed by staying on the screen, right? Well, now it passes to a new screen for them to comment on how they liked the gift.

It's a very small detail, but man, this is killing me. I'll leave it like this for now, since it is functional and easy to work with.

Worst-case scenario, I make the clothes change look like the new system as well, since, as I said, it's easier to work with, I will subject this to an upcoming poll.

For now, what do you think? The items are placeholders, read the description since I tried to adjust them to the real deal, but I don't have the pics for it.

As you may notice, each gem reacts differently to some items. Also, you have a stats screen that tells you exactly how many points you got, how many points you have after that, and the current level (to see if they leveled up).

Items range from 0 to 3 points, as stated last week. Still figuring out the economy, though, I'll probably up the prices, since you could break the game pretty easily, and the idea is to make progress progressively easy, not break it at the start.

ALSO! I'm working on a work system. Steven should be able to get jobs through Beach City, hopefully, some with perks, but the idea is that he has two sources of income so buying gifts can be faster, and different works will reward Steven with different money depending on who he will work with. His first job, the cheaper one (for now) is Steven working for Greg at the car wash.

Lastly, also saw how the battle system can work. I'm trying my best to implement it!

Well, you guys voiced your opinion. It wasn't easy, but thanks to the renpy discord server I managed to find a way to show this screen on top of all others easily, which also makes the closet options easier to implement. I still need some modifications, I want to make the gift menu smaller so it's easier to reflect how many points are you making with each new point on the phone screen. Also, in the future, I want the gems to comment on each individual item, but that would take time.

Also, here's another preview for Sadie's scene, I don't want to spoil it entirely since it will be the only scene in the next update, hopefully, released soon, but you can see almost all in the support tiers.

Speaking of completed update, I'm planning on launching an HTML version of the game (Here is gem dom running on newgrounds). There are a lot of drawbacks to it. Still, I plan on doing a small demo version, adding some content over time, but redirecting it to download pages, like here, once the demo is completed on your end to play everything else (dunno if you can export saves that way, I think you can).

Gift system sounds great. I think it will be a good method to increase influence with the one gem you don't take on missions.
Yeah, but it will also be the main method to influence townies, since you don't take them on missions either. You can focus on a single gem and probably max her in no time, but personally, as I play games, I try to be as efficient as possible.

Different reactions will be coming, but it will have generic responses to how much they like it for now.

Any chance impregnation could be implemented? Even if their stuck in Pregnant state sprite limbo the better!

Old design for now. Accessing the new content won't need to go through the old content, though. As for release, hopefully this month, but only one new scene, likely.

I hope they can keep the old art. Games can have multiple artists without it being jarring. Hell, my favorite hentai game, Monster Girl Quest, has multiple artists all with their own distinct styles.

Even though I completely agree (can think of that one time insexual awakening had a different guest artist), the difference is VERY jarring, not talking about quality, I think they are both good, is just because of how different it is. And showing one after the other makes it even more evident.

That being said, it's still not a priority to change the style of the old scenes or sprites. My alternative to it is to keep the current scenes and whenever the art is changed, I'll make the old scene accessible through other means just so the art isn't lost.

To not spoil the whole scene, I won't post how the animation looks, but here's a small preview (check our discord). Man, what can I say that I haven't before, I love how it looks, it's easier to work with, and, as you can see, contrary to previous posts, the background is finally the one she is supposed to be at. Can you guess the place?

Additionally, here's the work system, not much of a system, for now at least, but basically, you go to look for work, work once a day, and get paid. You can combine this with gem missions to make some money during the day, and will leave you time to do one other activity daily. Plan wisely! Also, working will neat you more money as you advance through the story, and with different characters. Depending on how things go, you may also get some other rewards, wink wink.

Just a small devlog this week. We are reaching the final touch for the update, hopefully, so not a lot to say.

That being said; the battle system! Not something to be implemented in this update, but I'm slowly working on it, seeing if it works, how it can look, etc. It still lacks several UI elements like HP and all that jazz, but this is basically it.

As for how it works, well, basically, the gem will move to the left, right, or stay in the canter, and she'll do a movement, depending on the movement, you should perform an action, and the outcome depends on your activities on top of her, which includes you being damaged, she is damaged, the damage being halved for either, being multiplied, or no damage at all. I wanted to keep it simple, the trial and error should come from seeing their pattern. Speaking of which, there's a timer, so you better act fast or you will be damaged. Hopefully, this will be a short, but fast-paced minigame to keep things fun and engaging. It will be mandatory in some parts of the game, mind you.

sounds like the system works along the lines of an improvised and/or advanced version of paper, rock, scissors which i honestly really like. not a fan of the timer thing, between this bein a porn game so obviously my attention would be elsewhere, my poor reflexes in general and my laggy laptop ill have to have said timer is veeery lenient or this minigame will literally be impossible for me >.< honestly hate timers in general, would much prefer if it was turn based and more focused on learning your opponents fighting style or something so i could do things at my own pace instead of bein rushed to do things
