I was quite enjoying the game up until then.

Fundamentally it becomes a deal-breaker for me because in my mind the situation doesn't fit the position my character is in. Would it bother me if the MC is a criminal and gets strong-armed by police/other gang leader/whatever or the MC is shady character getting extorted over his shady activities? Nope. Because that would fit the character and its environs. But, here, where I'm playing an integrity 100%, non-perv doctor who is strait-laced and aboveboard, it doesn't fit. The very obvious solutions (go to the police, complain to the medical board, flip him the bird) do not exist. The best I can do with head canon is take the hospital's Chief Medical Officer's offer and move to the city with my new long-term girlfriend. In other words, end the game. The character is portrayed as being in demand and having other career paths available. It's not like I'm abandoning the people in the town to having no medical care -- there is a fully functioning clinic in addition to my nascent one already in the town.

Now I could restart the game playing a much shadier doctor, but that doesn't appeal all that much. Even then there doesn't appear to be any player upside to going along with the demands. It doesn't look like it leads to anything interesting story-wise; it doesn't add new gameplay options; all it adds is a new constraint. So that isn't interesting for me.

Additionally, the demands aren't particularly sensible. Patching up his guys at cost is perfectly natural and appropriate. But who wants a doctor to deliver packages daily? It calls attention to the deliveries and using a doctor as the delivery agent adds no value to the action.

I understand perfectly and this was intended to be given as an option in Kiko's story arc, which is still under development. In fact, I always wanted the player to deal a blow in Xuan's organization once he messes up with the clinic (don't forget Erika's a strong say in what happens as well), but as you can see Kiko's story arc is still missing many chapters, which will be added in August (

The issue was fixed in 0.0.25_08 a couple weeks ago, the leaked release is 0.0.25_07.
Try to use this file, it should fix the issue, but I recommend you to update to the latest release since this fix basically skips two releases. (If you have .rpy files in your game folder delete them or this fix won't work AT ALL).

DEVLOG: The Bank, The Garage and the Bonding Place

​

Greetings fellow doctors!

In this very hot summer, at least in southern Europe, I thought about giving you some fresh news for you to enjoy!


Today I'm introducing you some new places to enjoy in the game, which will be delivered with update 0.0.27 which is about to be published for our Patreon supporters and in a few weeks for everyone as well!



All these places are tied to your relationship with Vanessa and Aaron, so you will only discover them by going through your relationship with them. Also, since they introduce new ways to get money and stats, they are also introduced quite late into the game to avoid breaking its balance.



The first place is the Bank where Aaron works. You can go there to either talk with him (26 conversations have been added for both him and Vanessa, and they are not just the same ones repeating themselves, but are different lines who reflect the characters) or to use the bank services (i.e. Loans)

For a monthly fee you can get up to 100k $ to spend at the clinic, buying cars, paying staff members etc. You can only have the higher loans if your clinic has enough fame though, as the bank won't just give money to some unknown guy who needs it.

If you fail to repay the monthly fee you will lose A LOT of fame, so think about loans if you feel like paying them back!

The second place is the Garage, where Aaron or Vanessa (depending on who you chose on January to be your "Main Romantic Interest") will tweak cars for a price. And being you their partner you are offered a discount!

If you own one or more cars/bykes, you can bring them there to be customized and earn some benefits.

• Adding ***ADS*** will cost you 4500$ and will boost your fame by 15 points each month.
• Modifying the ***ENGINE*** will cost you 10000$ and reduce the energy you need to move around to 0.
• Adding ***LED LIGHTS*** will cost you 3500$ and will boost your charm by 5 each month.
• You can do this for more than one vehicle, and the effects will stack.
• Each time you ask for a customization your relationship with Aaron/Vanessa will increase significantly.
• However, since they are self-learning mechanics, there is also a 3% chance they will damage your vehicle permanently.

The final place is the Bonding Place, a place where you can play around with Aaron, Vanessa or both (yeah, threesomes!) and establish new bonds with them

Unlocking a dozen new sex images and two brand new animations, you can go to the Bonding Place to earn some sexperience and progress your relationship with both Aaron and Vanessa, at least until they're satisfied of this kind of menage-a-trois.

Let me know what you think about this new additions, I can't do a good game without the players' support and feedback!

Celebrating a new life​

A few hours ago my 2nd child was born a month earlier than expected!

Join me and my wife Sara to greet the newborn baby Mirko into life!

(Of course development for the game AND bug fixing AND some reply to emails might be delayed for a few days, I'm sure you'll forgive me because of this, as I don't have a staff who works for me, every interaction is personal )
This is the 2nd baby born during General Practitioner's development! It's a fantastic sensation, even though I still need to really understand what just happened as it was very fast AND unexpected!

I regret to say that this game stopped to please me.
Each subsequent version has more and more errors, and the developer disposes of those who report these errors and still only persuades to become his patron, which for me is rather pathetic, because I remember a few months ago he did not have such an ignoring approach to players, who reported bugs here in the game,
Now, reading his answers, you can clearly see that only cash counts, because if someone reports another bug in the game and gets the answer that there is a bug fix on the site patreon (but of course you must have a subscription of at least $ 10 or more to have access to this bugfix or a newer version of the game that the bug fixes).
I was his patron myself some time ago, but seeing how his attitude towards players changed, I withdrew my support.
In addition, unfortunately, to play this game does not encourage the amount of sexual content available here, I understand that the game focuses on the medical aspect (because MC is a doctor), but I think that since it is supposed to be porn games or sexual content, there should be definitely more of this content (and the sex scenes here are not enough, there are not many of them, they are also too unattractive to the eye).
I wish the developer, of course, good luck in further development of the game, but I also recommend to consider if only players who are his patrons or also bought a version of the game on steam they count for him.

The family came in for an annual check-up and there is no way to check the back because there is no option to have her remove clothes.

Also I have no idea what version of the game I have and it does not say what it is at steam.
Since this is still alpha you should have it somewhere at the start of the game in settings or something.
I downloaded this one from steam and it has not updated except for when the main number changes.
(v0.0.24 to v0.0.25 and has not updated since.)

That's false, my friend. For one reason: I lowered the money needed to get the top tier on Patreon from 20$ to 10$, I give a Steam key for free to 20$+ patrons which means you can get the FULL GAME with all updates and then delete the subscription and never pledge again.

Moreover, one thing has indeed changed: I am now developing games for a living, meaning that I feed myself and my family with this, and while I do check this forum for feedback, as I always did, I have less time to reply to long posts as I had earlier, because I want to deliver the FULL GAME on December, and not keeping "milking" patrons as so many other devs do. This project will be finished, but in order to do so I need to work on it, not spending time replying to bug reports made on the forum (I read them, I solve them, I publish the fix, what else?)
And yes, people who actually pay for my games allow me to keep doing this job, so I have a special attention to them. But if I ignored this community, why post the news here as well? I have plenty of social media channels to do so...

The amount of content has improved as well: 4 exams every month, a complete story arc (I am ending every relationship in game and the main story will unravel on October), a hundred new pictures every update, new sex animations... Then again, where do you see "cash only" written on it?

I'm sorry other people/website (even Patreon) say it's a porn-content game, but I never sold it for being a porn game, so I haven't changed anything about it, I always said GP is an ADULT game.

As I said many times, I want to improve and be a better developer, and posts like yours help me a lot in doing it, when they don't say something that is not true (I'm also thinking about going to a "per-release" pledge against a "monthly" one, so I wouldn't call it "cash only attitude" either). What I saw is that I don't get replies to what I post and say here like I did in the past, while games which are abandoned (Big Brother anyone?) are still in top view.

Oh, and moderators wanted to dispose of this game/thread because of some moron, and I insisted to let it stay here even though it provides a PIRATE/FREE link to people, because I love this community and I respect it. wep can confirm that to you if you don't believe it. I am not sure how I feel about this game after just starting it. Maybe my limited medical knowledge is getting in the way.

The combination of extremely limited timeslots and energy is a turn off. I understand not wanting the player to be able to do everything in a day, but still it should feel like there is more than 3 hours in the day. Obviously you don't want to repeat the grind of the medical exams multiple times for the same amount of money, but it also feels like the game is a 12 hour work day and then you have little to no time to do anything else.

I was somewhat surprised how much medical jargon it throws at people, but while there is a codex most terms aren't linked to it. I was also occasionally surprised when it seemed to penalize you for asking standard questions for routine exams. I guess I need to think more like the dev and less like how the clinic I worked at was run.

I am still very early and my sister/cousin just came to visit, but I don't know that I have any draw to go back.
