You can buy a personal laptop at the Mall. But I'm not sure (don't remember) you really need it for anything other than messing with college rules.

hi, inprogress (spoilers) i have level 6/6 and unique event all done, two question, 1) why it's no finished 2) now something happens, there are new scenes?
As long as the drive hasn't been formatted, its volume ID is, probably, still the same.
I've managed to run the game on a virtual machine to see if I could run my current saves there. The idea was that cloning system volume id and "Sandlust Games Ltd" registry key would be enough to fool the game. Well, it's not. There's also something else that must be copied.

yeah, that's why i won't play it until it's finished. i played last time like 0.11? don't even know. and it seems nothing really happened besides integrating recycled BB in Glamour. poor souls who offer money to this scam.

If you're able to get the 0.18 events to work, then let me know because I couldn't even trigger anything that was released in 0.17 nor 0.18 *shrugs* Wasting my time with this game it seems. I keep giving it the benefit of the doubt, but I'm losing interest in this game on every update it has.

1. Run GlamourTransfer.exe as administrator on the source machine:

The export process is harmless. The utility doesn't modify any existing data.
3. Copy this zip archive to the destination machine.
4. On the destination machine run GlamourTransfer.exe as administrator, press Import and select your zip file.
¡¡¡ If there are other saves on the destination machine, they will not longer work and will be removed, but the backup will be created !!!

The import process may cause unknown damage to the destination machine.
The import process modifies your machine guid that Windows generates during its installation and stores in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\MachineGuid
I don't know what programs use it or does Windows itself use it, and how they may react to the fact that it suddenly changes. While the MachineGuid property is not guaranteed to be completely unique on each and every machine, some paid program may still use it as a unique identifier to bind its license to. Changing the MachineGuid could make such a program think that you are trying to run it on a different machine violating the license terms.
For that reason the utility makes a backup copy of the existing MachineGuid value before overwriting it:

Also, before extracting the saves to the destination machine, the utility exports the current saves creating a full backup copy that you can reimport back later:

I imagine you mean as regards content for Max.
Bear in mind the following:
When Silver started Glamour, he had no intention of including Max.
Max was brought in in response to buttloads of fans asking for it.
He hasn't been a playable character for very long.
Silver's working on bringing over BB content into Glamour for him along with some new content.
So even the fact that the current update ratio is 2:1 Kate:Max is kind of a moot point. That could change at some point.
