Hmm, I wouldn't say that Oscar is an alpha male. He comes across as more of a stereotypical "golden boy" of rich parents who is trying to play alpha.

Ohh, I'm sorry, I don't follow the news from patreon. Judging by this, they decided to make one client? hmm, how does protection work then?
Well i don't really understand the thing about protection but usually all the games in this site work on offline clients except for dark silver , NLT and one or two other games .
Moreover in case of online client if the server is down i don't think you can play the game .
So i do believe that offline client is better as it requires less maintenance and easier coding.

Oscar is part of the game, of the script and Kate's story. I can't believe you guys are getting angry on any male characters. First I saw some people getting angry with Lucas, now Oscar? I wouldn't complain if it did turn out that Karen ploughs Kate with a Bad Dragon. Might actually be interesting.
But more than that, I'd like to see some of her unfinished quests getting worked on.
As for getting mad about the male characters...
Oscar is a dullard.
Max got forcibly inserted (no pun intended) into Kate's affairs. If he had his own classroom (there is a second one that never got used) of sluts then I doubt people would have had so much vitriol aimed at him. He also comes off as a manipulative slime.
