and does anyone have a step by step guide on how to get this damn mac version working....the developers really expect their players to unlock the mac version every time with the mac terminal...no one can do that

Talk to Sophie (at Karina's lesson). On the same day, Kate should be in class at 11-30.
Developers expect their main audience to be Win and Android users. And maybe only you have problems with the game on the Mac version.

No, you shouldn't. You talk in class, you get Alternative Punishment. To open it, be in class on the same day at 11-30.

There is an error in the code. Karen ignores Kate and Sophie's conversation in class. Just do as I told you.

In a mirror universe however, DS is a competent writer and Kate remains the actual main character.
We Kate fans wish it weren't so but we must exist in this unfortunate plane of reality.
I don't understand the "kate fans".
I mean, the game's been going well away from Kate being the main character for quite a while now, and there would be no reason for DS to go back to "that", since most people have no interest in female protags unless they're just like Kate, cumdumpsters that gets fucked by anything alive with a cock.
Condering DS' previous game and writing/story, expecting a "good" story, is probably more on you than on him. He "makes" sluts that gets used/corrupted, not good deep stories. The only deep things in his games, are the cumdumpster's holes.
