So I tried following this guide for Glamour v0.49, but it doesn't seem to work as expected. I can start the game, but when I try to verify through patreon, it asks me to log in, click allow, then waits a minute or two before sending me back to the initial screen, where I clicked 'patreon'. Did anything change since the writing of this guide?

Just click continue instead of Patreon at the beginning. Patreon login only grants you access to game updates which you probably don't need... (If you downloaded 0.49 from here you don't need updates, because it's currently the newest version)

Glamour now uses Chromium/Electron, both of which are supported by mac systems. You ought to be able to get the latest version running.

I was able to extract everything, but I'm not sure which .js file should I change and how to properly point it to the correct directory. I extracted it to the same folder both app.asar are

Even if I'm not into that BDSM crap at all (could have done without costume and spanking), the last update was ok ... from a narrative point of view. But

I was mostly baffled that the whole update was about repeating the same thing 16 times in a row. Wait for 13:40, click, click, click, click... Wait for 13:40, click, click, click, click... Wait for 13:40, click, click, click, click
... and of course the typical ("no, we don't do that this time. maybe next time". "No, not this time either", "nope, still nothing", "ok, there you go"). THAT's how you recycle images efficiently.

you can cut down image count almost by half, if not more. A lot of them repeat.

Hi, it's been a while since I last played this, and I never tried logging in with patreon. It's not something that is required for the offline client. Just getting the game running was good enough for me. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful :(

That's probably correct with the number of pictures, and with the reuse, I noticed myself that some of the pictures are older due to the color differences and that the pictures and characters are not the own development of DS but from the rich pool of these game platform, but what bothers me the most is that the supporters are still happy with it and still pump money into this game.
