Sometimes, I think the only core purpose Eric served (other than adding tension in the early part of the game) was to make Max look better not as bad. He looked like a villain and it was a wonder all the women were so blind. Thereby setting up that without Max, their (short) lives would have been so much worse.

Spoiler: That was another example of "gaping plothole" and also where, because Eric, a woman completely changes character and becomes dumb as fuck.

I was disappointed that the more worldly wise Kira was starting to be taken in by Eric. I expected that she would see through him. I'm certain she's had to learn how to deals with "Erics" in the porn industry. At least they came up with an explanation of why Ann was so vulnerable. Of course, almost setting it up that Ann needed to be controlled, so better Max than someone outside.

Spoiler: It was supposed to be his main source of income, because that's how DS wrote it. He also linked it to an abandoned plot point that tied to Eric, but was another thing that was left untouched for so long, because the spineless fuck lets patrons choose the direction of the game. He's been doing the same with Glamour, and to the point of repeating content polls until he patrons vote on what he's been wanting to do for some time.

That became my biggest frustration with the game. I think I could have put up with many of DS's own choices (much like we can see cultural influences in some of the games, whether written Germans, Russians, and others), but when he decided to focus on what the $40 patrons wanted, Glamour seemed to lose a lot.

Yeah, if his $40 patrons insist on it. I still see DS as being old school in many ways, such as creating Glamour as only marginally better than BB in graphics, and still using stiff mannequin poses and expressions in many of his renders.

Alice was not totally submissive, true, I always forget about your girlfriend and that lesbian content, but anyway, she pretty much accepted almost anything Max asked.

In BB, that was through Kate, and money to Alice's cam-shows that Max had been secretly setting things up with through an anonymous account.

I find it very difficult to happen, DS create another male NPC that has Eric characteristics or similar.

Already has. Go play as Kate, and you'll find them easily.
With the plans for Max to (eventually) attend the same college as Kate, those characters could easily be used in a similar role to Eric, but restricted to college things only.

There are two types of developers, those trying to create their story/script and those who cannot create their story/script. Many end up paying attention to their patrons and let it interfere with your dramaturgy.

Indeed, and DS is certainly the latter of the two.

Eric was a terrible character, that's why many hate him. It was very poorly developed, as well as other characters in the house. He should be the center of tension, the crank that makes the valve turn, but what does he do? a character without charisma for villain. Another problem with this is that there are many who don't like "NTR" or just seeing a share, are adults who cry for nothing, seems to me to be a sulky teenager. If you look at BBAS, you will see that those people have the same thought, "I don't want to see Eric in the game". I always gave the idea that Eric would be a wolf, whoever arrives at the house greets everyone, give compliments and watches Max. He sees how Max looks at his sisters, mother, and tries to make small talk trying to trick Max to become your "buddy". If Max chooses to be your friend, Eric will give him some benefits, for example, letting Max watch Eric fuck Ann and then have Max participate in hiding using a blindfold on Ann. But if Max wants to be your enemy, he will have to fight for his sisters and family, but if he is a friend, Max will also try to deceive Eric until the time comes that he will betray Eric and get rid of him. Anyway, unfortunately people are sensitive to NTR, even if it's part of the dramaturgy.

The biggest problem with Eric, wasn't that he was fucking Anne and trying to do the same with the others too, it's that he (the plot elements surrounding him and the game-mechanics relating to his presence when visiting) was so ham-fisted in their implementation that even patrons wanted him gone.

He abandoned the game but I don't remember the citation of cameras. As a matter of fact, yes, there was. But he just tells Kira about his plan to make money from the hidden cameras, but I don't think that would lead anywhere or have any splendid content.

IIRC Kira took it as a bad joke on Max's part.
Not even she would have done anything like that, and she wanted the whole family involved with each other. Sexually, and professionally through her porn business.

Kira should be an important character in the narrative or maybe have a better script. Of course she has the role of taking care of Max, but she also has her perversive spirit. She's not a cheap bitch, she just likes having sex (nymphomaniac). But really in the old BB it had a little bad development, to say she was dumb, I don't know.

It wasn't just her though. It was everyone else in the house who wasn't Max.
When Max catches Eric peeping on Alice, Anne absolutely refuses to believe him, despite having not known Eric for anywhere believably long enough, especially when presented with a picture of Eric doing it.

Eric and Anne giving Lisa sex-ed, and Lisa sees nothing wrong at all with a relative stranger being involved in explaining sexual education to her.

Alice is clearly aware of Eric trying to get into her pants, but never says anything.

Lastly, Kira, the smartest and most cunning/devious of all of them, who had to prompt and direct Max in how to go about things, didn't even have the common sense to ask how Eric could've had a recording of her taking Max's virginity in Anne's bed, and was apparently such a sex addict that she never repeated things with Max that wasn't Lisa's training, instead she's also falling under Eric's "spell", because sex...

Again, the characters became wholly inconsistent and illogical whenever Eric was involved, because DS barely had a plan for how to implement Eric, beyond "Eric want fuck family, take house, send Max to Military School".

Turns out Eric would have to be the valve of the story, where in the course it becomes a tyrant. He behaves like a gentleman but he's a cad, so when he sees Kira, he'll try to fuck her, but how will he do it? simple, false accusation.

Except it wasn't false.
He had the video footage of her and Max having sex in Anne's bed, because Max was a dumbass who linked the one camera that was already there, into his scummy money-making scheme, which provided Eric with the means to find the site, and get the video.

True, I fully agree. Ever since what happened in BB, it seems like he's been traumatized by making his own choices. But it wasn't just the "NTR" that the whiners were complaining about, it was Eric's poor development in the game that was to blame.
I bet some have tried to sabotage Kate's story by not liking to play with FMC.

Glamour (before BB remake) was going with the same premise (as a remake) as the game he abandoned before BB - Glamour.
Which had ridiculously little content in the same time span it took for the earliest versions of BB to be released, until the last one released. Kate hadn't even begun to have sex in that amount of time.

There were certainly plenty who didn't want to play as a FMC, but more were turned away from the pretty invasive nature of playing Glamour - Online only, with a Patreon account to download updates and saves stored on DS's server. That's EA levels of bull-shittery, and for a porn game of all things.

Femdom content. There are women who like to be dominated, like to be spanked, like to be tied up and fucked with sex games. There are others who are the opposite, who like to make men submit to them, as is the case with Alice. But, Alice in the old BB seemed to be bipolar, she liked to boss, but at the same time likes to obey. But at the beginning of BB she didn't seem to be a lesbian, just an annoying big sister, DS made her a lesbian because her fans clamored for him to remove Eric from the game. I think that way and really if you look maybe you'll notice that too.

Alice wasn't a lesbian in BB. She was bisexual before removing Eric was even hinted at, and literally nothing to do with femdom.
Her girlfriend Kate, was the lesbian... Who magically wasn't a lesbian any more, after seeing "Max and the Magic Dick", and was one of the paths for getting rid of Eric, via her mother.

You forgot that a lot of games out there are adding "shemale" content. But you're right, but I wouldn't be surprised if the DS does either.

No, a lot of games are not "adding" futa/trans. There's a lot that were designed around having them, just like all those games that focus around sissification of the Player Character - because there's a market for them.
Outside of the weirdo virtue-signal twits, there's not a huge demand for "shemale" porn. It's still pretty niche by comparison to most other genres.
Suddenly adding that kind of thing would be all the nails in DS's patreon coffin. A sure-fire way to end practically all support for him.
I don't doubt there are some who play this game that also play trans/futa related games/stories, but they're not the majority of fans/patrons/players.

I just downloaded the full offline PC 0.43 version. Copied the game directory of the PC version into the same folder as the 0.38 MAC version Glamour.app. It seems as "if the game directory is in the same folder as the app" it loads this game. Works perfectly fine for me. I have just finished version 0.43 on my mac.

I was talking about Max's story. Kate's story I know, but the only male NPC who can compete with Max are Oscar and Nicolas. I can't think others can be competitors and I can't even imagine that DS will create a new character for it.

Absolute right. But if you look at the "remakes" they made of BB, most other opinions didn't want Eric to be in the game. Not even at BBAS, there are people there who can't stand Eric and are complaining about NTR. It's not just about the mechanics that were in the old BB either, it's the rancidity even for the character.

If I'm not mistaken Ann saw the photo and said she couldn't see it right because it was dark, and then doesn't believe Max, which is obvious since Max provoke Eric about calling him Jerk and always saying I didn't like him. Ann really wouldn't listen to Max, maybe she would listen to her sisters.

Lisa didn't see anything wrong in the game, but, that's why DS failed to put on personality in their characters. Lisa seems to me to be a shy, gossipy girl, dumb/ingenuous. So because Max wanted to teach her certain things, Eric ended up discovering that, and we know Lisa was a ingenuous, she just accepted. She really was interested in learning.

Maybe because Alice liked it, but I believe Eric gave her some money to she hang out. I also remember that Max used to give her money to improve her mood, so if we went to see Eric's characteristics, he is rogue, you give her gifts and money to gain her trust and make her like you.

The part about Eric recording Max and Kira having sex in Ann's room intrigues me a lot, I mean, this for me was a little meaningless plot, for how was Eric going to get into the house and know that Max and Kira would have fun? Did Eric have Ann's keys? did he make any copies? Eric didn't know about hidden cameras, Eric didn't hear Max's conversation with Kira, how would he know Max and Kira would have sex in Ann's room on Saturday morning? Even more so if he took a camera and recorded the act? does not make sense. DS doesn't know how to create a small blackmail script, some of Max's blackmails about Alice I thought were stupid, "Alice, I want you to walk around the house without your panties on. - Okay Max, I'll be in my jeans anyway." You know, this isn't about being stupid, but there wasn't one thing that could go further and make things warmer.
Another thing about it, Kira was also afraid Ann would find out she was fucking her son, maybe you forgot about that, but the whole dramaturgy of the game was, Lisa was afraid Ann would find out, Alice was afraid Ann would find out, Kira was afraid Ann would find out. So Kira has sex with Max and at the same time she sees it as something risky, if you don't know, she had sex with Max when Ann, Lisa, and Alice left the house to go shopping, so Kira knew there was some time with Max. So this supposed blackmail by Eric made Kira realize that she took too much risk, no wonder Kira plays games with Max at night while she's awake in the lounge watching her erotic movies. Ann must be a heavy sleeper, which is hard to wake up to, as are Alice and Lisa who are already asleep. So, imagine Ann seeing Kira having sex with Max? she was going to kick Kira out of the house and give Max a lesson, which Max would go beaten a lot and with Eric around, game over for Max.

It's true, but think, Max is still young, he has his problem with being perverted (although that wasn't fully told since there was no prologue talking a lot about what had happened before the whole family moved to the new house). Eric is a structured man, naughty, opportunist, misleading. In the story, it's really true, the script was very weak, you see him already pointing his finger in Max's face and telling Max to submit (theoretically) and you see Max always talking bad about Eric to Ann. About girls being blind, it's kind of normal for that to happen, if you look at the game, Alice looks like 18 years old, maybe 17 years old, but Lisa and Max looks like 16 years old, I don't see Eric hitting on Lisa, he hits on Alice. So if Eric shows up in Alice's room, it's like he was going there to meet and talk to her, ask what she liked and take advantage of it. So much so that he always ends up giving her money, clothes, in return he massages her and is alone with her in her room. Alice also deceives Eric all the time. In Lisa's case, Eric finds out that Max is trying to teach her sex education and Eric takes advantage of that, talking to Ann and making up his mind to accept that decision of them to teach Lisa about sex education. If you notice, Lisa has no affection for Eric, unless if you send Lisa go to the lounge to see Ann making a blowjob in Eric, she starts to like what she's seeing and her affection increases.

In this, DS knew how to work, however, unfortunately there wasn't any content that made Eric fuck Alice, I mean you saw this scene, or Eric put his cock in Lisa's mouth. Just Eric fucking Kira, if I'm not mistaken, Kira likes to be fucked by Eric, as her affection also grows.

That's why I call him a coward, I would never do that if I were creating a game. I accept new ideas, I would think and if it was good I would implement. But if there was to be any interference, I wouldn't listen. Glamour (Kate's story) started good, promising, but he saw that he wasn't getting support, he listened to others, created a story with a male MC, these same people didn't like it, made him go back to creating a BB story, only without the old plot, and the rest we all already know. But it's not just him that this happens, other developers also come under pressure. The fact is that DS knew that their game wasn't going to be very successful, as there are many others that are much better, that have animations and even SFX effects. Maybe he's decided to embrace this audience that pays him to do the work, the person who contributes $40 he'll listen to and always poll with choices where they decide what they want to see first and what they don't. I wonder if it's fair, even though it is a great renderer, maybe people are "tired" of BB and want something new, or maybe it's just his laziness.

It's really true, the leap from the old BB graphics to the new one is splendid. Unfortunately, the game still needs to be animated, of having scenes with animations and some SFX of the girls' moans. But, there is a small detail, in the old BB, Lisa seems to be 16 years old, as I said, but during the course of the story, she seems to get older, it's like a year or two has passed (Max too). In glamour, Lisa doesn't seem to have that 16 year old look, it looks like she's already 19 years old. Alice I didn't see much of a difference, but her renderings are much better, and Ann, my god, she looks gorgeous just like Kira too. But Olivia, I noticed it remains the same, of course, its rendering is better than the old BB, Vicky, despite her appearing in Kate's story, the rendering remains the same. I love Lisa's new rendering in Glamour, but I find Lisa more attractive in BBAS.

It's been a while since I played BB, but wasn't it mentioned that Eric found out about the cams? All he would need to do is record the feeds to his hard drive and wait to find something incriminating.

True, people were complaining about Lisa's new hair, but that is one thing that makes her seem older. Back in BB, she and Olivia were supposed to be in high school, if memory serves, and Max would have been in high school if he hadn't been kicked out for being a minor sexually taken advantage of by a teacher.
