Is he saying that again? to make minor updates and faster?
The game has dropped in quality, but in the beginning it took everyone by surprise. I say this because when it started to be created, people (like me) were impressed by the quality of the renders, Ann and Kira's rendering are great. But I didn't like this new plot. I still prefer that Max as a perverted brat who depraves his family, as it was in the abandoned game, but not that much of a story, because at times DS deviated from its script. I like to see Max tricking his sisters, blackmailing them, gaining authority over them, seducing Ann and having sex with Kira, but I don't know, for me this game was slowly dying. I didn't like Max's storyline in Glamour, but the renders were ok, at times the story got interesting but then it got bad again. Today the character is that character that man seeks to play, who will fuck all the girls. Some people will noticed that the story is bad and will end up giving up on this game, no wonder I said that Max's story is a story for Losers. In time, people will start to give up, because I believe the downfall of DS will be Max's college script which is very poorly written.

Given that the "real porn" version of Glamour hit 0.8 (and then canned because those were real people being repackaged and resold), will this version also be canned when it gets that far or will DS just let it drag on as he struggles to come up with more content ideas?

The biggest update yet.. press x to doubt. He delays? OMG!!! Must be a first.. Tbh people who donate 20$ or more to him are fools. Clearly patrons aren't treated well with all the delays and lies. Does he really think that saying "biggest update yet" is believable at this point?

Maybe he's making his customers choose which direction the story will take if the payer has $40 to vote. He no longer has that large public he had years ago and he has a competitor too who is doing BBAS, which also isn't doing much different than the DS. However, DS doesn't have an audience that it can listen to suggestions and ideas that can be applied to its story. Maybe he uses Discord or Telegram, we don't know but I don't think so.
About delays, most devs do, some get to be cock-faces of milking and making the client sucker. We all know that if DS drops this project he won't be willing to do another one, unless he tries to create another clone like he did with BB and that there are suckers to pay.
Well, thinking here, maybe I would do the same thing. I finished the 0.47 update and I was doing the 0.48, if I see that the two complete each other I would tell my audience to wait a little while the two updates came out together. The downside of a small update is that the content will be smaller, it's faster to get out but smaller. So if I'm putting two together, for a medium-short period of time, why not? I know how frustrating it is, the person wants to have monthly updates and not bimonthly but you will judge if this update will be "the biggest ever".

DS made 2 major mistakes.
1) Did not divide the line of Kate and Max into 2 independent games;
2) Abandoned his original RPG concept with choice of storyline and turned it into a visual novel;
Let me explain why I think so. The concept of a patreon means that we pay the author who uploads his work. We're not stockholders, we're not trustees, we're not sponsors, we're not shoppers. We are volunteers who pay for the content we like. I do not like? - I don't pay, it's simple. Of course, this does not prevent the authors from striving to increase the number of payers and keep them with various bonuses and privileges. Well, that's it, a little thought. Now to my points.
1) Separation into independent games. It's one thing when the same storyline is played for different characters (mage, warrior, thief lol), it's another thing when it wasn't even close. On the example of glamour: for Kate there is a plot (abandoned). There is no plot for Max, there is a goal - fuck everyone. What prevented all the developments and the RPG component from being implemented in the game for Kate, and for those who want not to soar their brains but just to fuck everything that has a pussy to make a visual novel for Max? 2 games - everyone is happy.
2) There are a lot of examples in the gaming industry when developers deviate from the original idea. 99% of the time it ends up being crap. The idea of the original glamour was in the plot with an RPG component. What do we see now? crap, but crap with good pictures. Which, in principle, is not bad (the graphics are not bad), but I will not pay for this.
P.S. I'm for Kate and against Max, but not because Max pisses me off. This cockroach is simply not needed in glamour. In a separate game - no problem, here - no. DS shoved Max through with the grace of a hippo in a glass shop, justifying with a vote and other excuses. Maybe this is true, maybe not. In any case, at the moment I will not pay for a visual novel in which the author can get away from the initial promises. The concept of glamour: you ordered the delivery of beer, they brought you Pepsi and justified it by the fact that someone of the other orderers wants Pepsi ... but they want you pay like for beer.

Awesome How exactly you said everything. I also tried to say on the Patreon and in the Telegram that the inclusion of Max in the Glamour would kill the game. But I was banned in both places. It looks like DS just shuts up everyone who criticizes his Max line.
Yes, at least he did what he announced at the very beginning of the development of the game in Kate's history - a nudist beach, Kate's work as a model and photographer with photo shoots in the basement of Julia's house. Kate's work in a BDSM club, etc.

Unfortunately, DS knows that most of the cash comes from Max fans that love to self-insert.
It's a common calling card that the patrons are at fault for killing what should have been fascinating but in this case, I think it's the right thing to point out. I just don't think the usual "everyone should stop paying this developer and he'll start working harder" works. Ever. That's not how crowdfunding a developer works. Everyone pulls the funding - the game will be seen as a failure and he might not announce anything for quite some time.
The original (2016) Glamour had him stick to his guns with a Solo Kate (Katja as it was in the game) protagonist but we all know the mistake he made with that game. It had some interesting ideas but it seemed very messy - especially when auto-translated with Yandex. Technically speaking, he could just redevelop THAT but with the models used in current Glamour and just remove Kate from what is essentially BB2 at this point.

I don't speak a lick of Russian but I do fairly well with reworking machine garble.
At the moment I am looking for a normal author to write dialogues. Just copying the Glamour from DS didn't seem interesting to me, I decided to change something a little. I made a lot of pictures for scenes in Daz3d, but it turned out to be very difficult for me to write dialogues myself. My imagination is not very rich. I'm basically a specialist in technology and hardware. So I got used to writing everything briefly and to the point.

Here people can't play a linear plot, but you want an RPG. DS makes mistakes in the code, imagine how many mistakes there will be if there is an RPG. In BBAS, Alex is trying RPGs and 900 forum pages are littered with messages that this or that event does not start. Therefore, without an RPG in the current version, it is better.

And to clarify(for the facepalm crowd), no i don't think that men should be free to fuck any hole they find "just because", it's a dumb/archaic concept that has no place in a civilized society.
But this is a fantasy scenario, and 99% of porn-games choose that dumb scenario because it's way easier than writing meaningful dialogue, developing personal relations between characters, and following a story arc that's somewhat realistic, and gives the players some connection to the characters.
What drew me in on the original BB(other than the renders/models) was the relationship between the characters, and how it slowly progressed(through "corruption") towards romantic relationships. All that was wiped of the map in Glamour, and substituted by a mannequin-harem where Max runs around fucking everyone with little effort or emotional connection.
BUT, wait a minute... isn't that the exact scenario of Kate's side?
Didn't she start as an inexperienced teenager working her way through College-Life only to develop into a mindless fuck-toy for every single male in Glamour?
How that arc better than Max's? It's the lesser of two evils, but it's still a failed concept, even for a porn game.
