Okay question because i am immensely confused. What game is this? At times i see renders and characters from DS'S old game which he abandoned. And then other times i see "newer" and different renders and characters from what i assume is this new game. Also might i add that when seeing both examples they always have the same UI which is slightly upgraded from DS'S older game. Any assistance clearing this up?
Short answer - It's both, or at least becoming both.
Long answer - Originally a female protagonist only game set in the same "universe" with characters from BB appearing. It changed to both male & female with the male (Alex) just being an undeveloped gender-swap of Kate. Then the male was changed to Max when DS decided to start a remake of BB as part of Glamour itself.
To paraphrase myself, it's a remake within a remake.
Currently there's no Offline/non patron version where you can really do anything with Max, and that side of the game has a slower development schedule than Kate's side, with 2 Kates to 1 Max.
1 Max update at roughly every three months... Roughly 4 in a year.
I say roughly, because there's no set release schedule anymore, because patrons voted to allow a more flexible/longer development time with updated being released when they were ready, as opposed to releasing bug fixes.
As much as it's justifiably taking the piss out of Dark Silver, it's also something the Max fans need to get behind. Some more than others, given how much they whine about the lack of Max's content compared to Kate's.

The game graphics is very good despite that the gameplay has to be repetitive in order to advance forward.
Regarding CE, the glamour-server.exe is so unstable when I tried to find out the pointers.
It will unload itself and reload everytime I tried to perform a pointer scan to find the correct address.
If the scan is successful, exiting and reloading glamour-server.exe gives blank pointers, and when you trace the memory - the process reloaded itself. Is it a protection against CE?

No, i don't. This is Glamour and Max is half of it. So, would be fair that Max would have half the story, no 1/3 or less.

How do people trigger the cleaning events in Alice's house? Currently, I can only view the rooms and talk to Lisa and Alice. If I try meeting Ann the game hangs. I've tried clicking various things in each room, but it doesn't do anything.

This is Glamour, and Max is not half of it. We get it, your bias couldn't be more clear if you advertised it with 40-feet tall neon lights, you love Max and his magical penis.
If he was half the game, then development would have been evenly displaced between them as soon as they began the second remake, and he would have been a viable character choice from 0.14 onward. As it is, he's there just to try and pull back the BB patrons who buggered off when BB was abandoned in favour of a female-only protagonist remake.
Caving to patron demands (yet again) a male PC was created, the aforementioned Alex, who was set to be nothing more than a gender swapped Kate if any development was actually done with him. Alex then became Max, when DS decided to tease former patrons with a BB remake within the still under development remake of Glamour, but at a rate of 1 update to Kate's 2 updates...

Actualy I am not and don't try
It is simple fact.The dev told us to forget about easy and fast sex with Kira like in BB 0.3 or Alice in BB 0.5.
So that means we are looking for at least 5 more updates for Max before real action/we are not even talking about sex,more likely blowjob/.
In reality must be more than 5, because now updates won't be only Max's content.Eric will come too,so we can expect that there will be a time/let's say Glamour 0.22/ when 80% will be Eric and only 20% Max.
Damn.It seems I am way too optimistic for 2021
Seeing how in second update for Max,the most exciting thing was watching porn with Kira.Not sure that even in third update we will go firther than voyeurism.

I would be happy, if Glamour will be abandoned and DS would just concentrate Big Brother. The only good thing in Glamour is that Kate and her sister are hot. I would take Kate and her sister to Big Brother and Max will fuck both of them.
If that happens, no BB remake...
Considering that Glamour has gone further than BB did, and was announced with the pre-production work beginning before BB development stopped, and that Max only gets 1 update to Kate's 2, it's safe to say that Glamour and Kate is the main project focus, and Max and BB remake is the side project.
All you have to do is realise this, be patient, and you'll get your "Max's magical penis fucking all women even his family 2: Electric Boogaloo" in due time. Just not as fast as you want.

I realy doubt we will see that.With new shedule and if we follow BB plan we need at least 14-15 updates for Max before he can do what you said,probably more because Eric will take some of these updates.So far we have only 2.For 12 more we will need at least 40 months.

Has anyone finished the v.16 online content with Max?
I'm 32 player days into the game (geesh) and I've finished the Mentor and Big Problem quests, and so far Max has spanked Alice topless in the Smoking quest so I still have to finish that. I've thrown the spider on Alice nude for the Arachnophobia quest but there doesn't seem to be anything more to do with that quest even though it's not "finished" (I didn't see any CGs that suggest it's possible to put the spider in Alice's room, so I assume that's the end of that quest in this update even if the game doesn't tell me so).
I'm also assuming the answers to these questions are "Do moar grind!" but just in case I'm missing something obvious, any hints would be appreciated. Are these scenes even accessible in this update?

2) The CGs also have dozens of images of the girls at the pool topless or nude. What triggers these?

A remake doesn't mean copying point-for-point. That's more along the lines of a remaster.
It's clearly not going to be a continuation of where BB left off, and ideally it's not just "copy/paste" of what was done before, at least not without expanding upon/improving what's being redone. Therefore, it's a remake.

Hey guys I'm a bit new to this game. In fact I only found out about it a few days ago. So I apologize in advance for any stupid, annoying questions or remarks I may make. But sadly, yes, I am one of those BB fanboys (as you can tell by my profile picture) who are into Glamour for the chance of a BB sequel. But I just wanted to ask is the BB content exclusive to just the patrons? And for those who have played the new release how much content did 0.16 have involving the BB characters?

Nope, all content is/will be free, and available to all. It just is that patrons get it faster. But since the offline version getting done every month, we are getting it fairly regularly now here.
For example, today is the day when 0.15 offline version is supposed to be released, so wait for it to download. Which in total is 1 month of delay between free for all and patrons. And all content is the same.
