Max wasn't present when the game was started.
He was only brought in from Big Brother because people wanted a male player character. Somewhere around 0.09, I think. Silver brought him in and is developing for two characters now instead of one. His focus for the main part is Kate but will continue to bring more stuff over from Big Brother to facilitate that.
This game was originally going to be about Kate. You have no basis to complain about how he's handling the transition to developing for two player characters.
Yes, the majority of Glamour's updates have been disappointing lately but instead of calling it "shit game" take it for what it is - 0.21 (patron version). This means it's still a very early build and there's a lot of space to add more things for BOTH characters.
So - because BB is a single male main character cancelled game makes it somehow "superior"?
Your only complaint is that Kate was going to be the original focus and now that he has to think about Max and hasn't sacrificed countless Kate updates to being Max up to speed. Apparently that gives you all the more reason to bash. This I deduce from your "girly game" comment.
So if he stuck with just Kate and never brought Max in at all, would that make you happy? No, it wouldn't because there would be no male main character. This argument is ultimately useless and is usually met with "Play a different game, then"-style replies.
I'm glad he technically has space for at least 79 more updates. And that his patrons believe that he will ultimately deliver. Otherwise you wouldn't have this game to bash at all. But BB would still be cancelled because of the reasons I told you about before. It'll be up to you to find them.
Hopefully (even though I do play Kate's story more) once all the BB content is brought over, it'll transition from 2 Kate:1 Max update to a 1:1 Ratio but I doubt that's going to happen.
I'm not about to tell you WHY it was cancelled but it wasn't just to make "this shit game". He had this idea on the back burner for a while back in 2016 (and even got it to roughly 0.8) when it was JUST Kate (it also used "real porn" images). I think he was developing BB at the same time but the fans wanted BB more so he shelved Glamour to work on that.
All in all, there really isn't that much more Max content to bring over*. The next Max update will be 0.22 which should be out towards the end of this month. The Offline version about a month after, which is also when the $5 patrons will be looking at 0.23. If you want it when it's ready, then you're looking at a $40 donation. This is the full price of a large-budget game and I think anyone silly enough to pay that much every month needs their head examined**. That might actually be the close of the old BB stuff for Max. You could try looking forward to actual NEW stuff.
If you want to see new stuff faster, pay the man. You won't do that, of course. I would, but a bad experience with the online versions has stopped me. Everything lagged to the point of being unplayable. So I'm content enough to wait for a version that works the way it should.
Even some of the negative reviews for this had a fairer hand to deal than your post.
You did say one thing that's true though: You don't understand why BB was cancelled. And yet you call it a bad decision. Inform yourself by asking over on the BB thread about why it was cancelled and I'm sure they'll give you a link. Or they might do you a real solid and tell you themselves. Maybe he just doesn't like rendering dicks.

* I downloaded BB once I heard it was cancelled and even reading every line of dialogue I was ready to put it away after about four hours. I did however stop playing for two days while I processed Eric but my total play time was just over four hours. Not surprising, how much of an early build it was. If I blitzed the text, significantly less.
** I am a patron to two developers but I'm not going to go over €10 for either of them because they constantly deliver. If I could trust Silver to the same extent, he'd probably have my € as well. I'm not saying he should push out large chunky updates all the time but it would be a nice surprise.
I've tried to remain calm in this (admittedly long) reply and it hasn't been easy. I hope I've made my point about why I think your point was very immature in tone and I also hope that I've helped you to figure out why BB was cancelled.
I did sound mildly annoyed at one point but that's because you were complaining about the lack of content for a character wasn't even supposed to be playable to start with.
I do have issues with this game. One of which is the grind. The other main issue is the random chance style of most of the events.
