When you open the game, there's a configuration window that opens first. Uncheck the windowed checkbox and select the resolution you want. The game is divided in two parts. You play either as a female, Kate, or as a male, Max. The Max story is a lot smaller due to having been less updated.
I don't know which version of the walkthrough you're reading, if it's version 0.5 don't waste your time. I don't think it's a BB remake, the idea is the same but it is totally different. In this game there are two story crossovers, Kate's story that she will have events at Alice's house and Max's story where Kate will appear at the house in the future. Yes, the text box of this game sucks, it is not the same as the other games, here you have to speed up the dialogues and then go up and then read, this ends up bothering you a lot, because it makes you lazy to read in this format. I wish that this game could have the option of having the dialogs in an original way, like the ones you have to keep clicking to pass the texts. Unfortunately it doesn't have that option, so I almost always lose the story because it is boring to read the dialogues that way. I don't think you're losing any magic, I hope the game gets better in the future, I just think the story is being too fast and forced.

To my understanding there's not going to be any Max content taking place after the end of BB storyline. The Max side is a new revamped story altogether within the BB setting. And so far the Julia side has been the main focus, so not a lot to play through with Max at this point. Just pointless grinding for a few teaser scenes basically.

BB was the game that got me into this genre of games and this forum, kinda sad to see what happened to it :/

Same deal here, BB was the first game that I came across in this genre. Flaws and all, it kept me occupied for a good while, and eventually led to me finding these forums. Had high expectations of Glamour because of BB nostalgia, but in its current state the game is just a ton of effort and grinding for no real reward at all.
Don't how much further along the patron exclusive version is in terms of meaningful content, but this just doesn't seem like it's worth the effort to be honest.Teaser scene, basically...

Haven't gotten that scene. Then again the walkthrough doesn't tell you anything since it's not up to date, the ingame hint system is shit, if it works at all, and the amount of grind it takes to get anywhere it'll take me six weeks to get a scene that's worthwhile

Check the unofficial walkthrough on the first page. The game doesn't really have any grind. You never have to repeat the same action multiple times for something different to happen. Usually, each time you do something, the story progresses and you are rewarded with a new dialogue. I mean, maybe you don't like dialogues, which is fine, but you'd be better served just watching porn instead of playing games like this.

Oh, ok. I got stuck into trying to progress the random little scenes with Julia and her boyfriend, and since those are random and I've got no clue of any specific requirements it just became an endless loop trying to get any progression.

e.g. when you reach 750 points it gives a scene, but you're already at 1,000 so don't get it.
Have seen this sort of scenario break games for players, in the past. No clue if there is anything of that nature here, but just to be aware that there is possible "hurt".
Because I want to get that scene too.

I have a problem continuing to the next step, according to the walkthough what I need to do is have Julia & Nick in the bedroom at 11/17 (which I have), and then talk to Julia about Nick and afterwards there should be BDSM gear in the basement. The problem is that I have nothing to talk about with Julia and after 5 days of repeatedly going back to the basement at both 11:00 and 13:00 there is no BDSM gear at all. Am I still missing something?

You have to return home from school to trigger the bdsm gear, not simply look in the basement. I'm not sure why you're stuck tho. Maybe you need to wait a few more days before you're able to talk to Julia about Nick. You might also not have watched enough erotic movies with Julia and Nick. So that's what I'd suggest, watch a movie or two, wait a few days and check Julia if she will talk to you about Nick.

There isn't and I'm pretty sure SandLust has no interest in making one.
The UI in this game is fucking awful. You try to click on a navigation icon and you end up clicking a different area. It's so annoying.
