the issue i have with this update is that with all other encounters with guys kate have options, she is not forced too have sex with those guys and then suddenly she can´t resist wonder cock from the little perv but i guess ds want max and kate toogether for the main quest in the future, but i am not happy about it i would have prefered that they where adversaries.

yeh the new quest in this update too complete it you have too go all the way with the little perv and as it is a main quest my fear is that it will be required for something in the future. Fear is probadly too strong a word but i am not a native english speaker, the game is not in anyway among my favorites but i play it when i am bored, but i have played from the beginning and it irritated me that too complete the quest we had too go all the way, for now i have decided too not start the quest, too be fair it could be ages before we will need the quest for anything and i would be very surprised if ds ever finishes this game.

Yeah, economically speaking it probably wasn't the smartest move to stop BB completely. Though I had the feeling back then that he was actually kind of relieved to have an excuse to drop the game. I don't think he really liked his own game. Again, just speculation.
Juggling two games at once like he is doing right now is also kind of dangerous. He's clearly trying to get back the BB fans, but he might loose the Kate fans in the process. I know I would have paused my patronage after 0.25/0.26.

Of course its risky but the whole operation is risky putting his livelihood in the hands of a bunch of horny perverts on the internet. If he doesn't produce what the people paying want to see he loses support. There are several creators that two or three games going and will work on them simultaneously or switch back and forth as inspiration comes to them but they at least try to explain the situation to their supporters. I agree he was probably looking for a way out but if that's the case he should have said it straight up rather than hide behind patreon's guideline change and he might not have lost as much support. DS seems to have a problem with transparency.

That could make an interesting plot point later, but I was meaning the other women that are at those shoots for the majority of it.

I still play Kate's story but the only reason I play DS games at all is for Lisa. If she played a prominent role in Kate's story I would be almost content to let Max slip into the void.

While that is totally true, I don't think the number of references to that name should count as an argument. He's already using placeholders a lot of times in dialogs, ie:

"Julia looks happy. What's the harm in making my {julia_kate_soft} happy?"
"Julia is my {julia_kate} and my roommate."
"Yes, I go here when I get bored sitting home. The coffee here is amazing. And sometimes I make sure my {alice_lisa} Lisa gets home safely, she's working as a waitress here."
"My {max_to_sisters} Max. You'll meet him if you visit my place."
"No. These aren't mine. Originally they belonged to Ann, my {ann_to_family}."

Introducing new ones could be done with a simple search and replace. But I suppose he has his reasons to not make them variable in the first place.

The save editor only does basic file operations in the save game location. If they didn't change the algorithm after 0.22 (it's the last version I tried it with) it should still work fine and saves should be readable by the editor and game. However, of course I can't rule out any bugs in the editor. I'll download the newest game version and see if I have the save issues as well. Right now it's hard to be helpful as I couldn't replicate the bug with the old version.

The problem with that is that you can have multiple saves of each sub-game. If you're playing the "Kate" branch, but have two renamed "Max" games, which name does it pull?

I'm having a problem with this as well. The walkthough says "find two wine bottles while cleaning a room." Unfortunately, once you have one bottle, the mini-game ends. No way to find a second bottle.

Especially if they put a mention in credits. This is a big community, the developers don't have to act like they're in isolation.
