Just be patient I guess. I've been 'loading' for almost an hr now and am at 79%. I don't like giving external servers access to write on my HDD - I probably won't be keeping this game no matter how good it is ---

Hmmmm, I haven't had issues before, but it's been "loading" for more than two hours now without a percent indicator... Maybe his server is down?

his server has been down before...it takes him awhile to get it back up
I'm absolutely not advocating for this, but a bad actor could probably DDoS his server indefinitely if they wanted to send a message or prove a point.

Indeed someone may already be doing that.

If it's down because of a DDOS or something similar then it's possible that it also may get hacked in the future and the result can be leaked user infos, deleted user saves, etc.

If it's down because of the dev's or server's hosting fault, then it may also lead to database loses in future.

I really can't understand why people is still supporting this kind of ill intentions and inadequacy. Actually after seeing the support that Gumdrop guy is still getting with his very openly milking operation then I shouldn't be surprised.

This is sad, because there are honest and really hard working devs who earn very little and actually deserve to earn more.

He was collecting 30k/month for BB. How is that not successful?

I warned about that months ago.I'm a sys admin. Managing back end servers and protecting them from attack is a major headache.

I don't understand the dev's thought process at all. He tried anti-piracy measures in Big Brother, and it backfired tremendously. He dropped that crap and his game became one of the most successful adult games around. Wasn't he making something like $30k a month despite his "fear" of piracy?

Why go through the hassle of making this online connection required to play bullshit? Seems like a huge slap in the face for all the generous paying patrons he already has. Is $30k a month not enough to live in Russia anymore? Granted it's been almost a decade since I've last been there. I enjoyed BB, but have yet to even try this game simply because of this idiotic anti-piracy crap.

We haven't had any news for some time, but we're still working as hard as always. All this days we were working on adding content we planned in 0.6 and we'll add it in the next couple of days. Groceries store will get chocolate bars and energy drinks so you can refuel at any moment. Unfortunately, implementing the inventory and stores took more time than we planned. But we did it.
Kate also has some key items as you go through the game. For example, college key card on the second day of the game. All key items will be added in the next update.

We'll also add new functionality to the laptop. It will have new online courses for all college classes and communication. The communication skill will also start growing with use, just like flirting.

I'll show you screenshots once we finish the update.

On one hand, we'll add this content once we do it instead of waiting till 0.7 comes out. On the other, we'll have less time to work on 0.7.

0.7 will be focused on new content same way 0.6 was focused on gameplay mechanics. By the way, all this technical stuff didn't affect rendering and editing of new images, which is going on in parallel with finishing 0.6. So don't worry, the number of images in 0.7 won't suffer.

I'll tell you more about 0.7 in future news. And you'll see new images very soon.

"Game requires internet connection to the devs server."

It's a real bummer and because of that, i'm not touching this game.
It feel more like a milking thing, than an anti piracy thing.

It's time for the final 0.6 update. You won't have to manually download anything, the game will auto update, as usual. Now, about the update:

Laptop is now more than just a speed-up-homework buff. 0.7 will have college website, where you'll be able to see current rules, members of committee and progress about current vote. In the future maybe you'll even be able to choose an initiative to vote on. We also plan to add online shops, watching porn and creating your own website to stream. But right now laptop has online courses:

Online courses. If you have money to burn, you can improve your communication skill or complete a course on one of college courses (excluding PE and swimming, of course). Every course has three levels. Basic course always has three lessons. It's not very expensive and gives a decent bonus to a skill or a grade. Main course consists of 10 lessons. Advanced course is just one lesson, but it's two hours long, gives a nice bonus and you can repeat it as many times as you want.

Communication skill should start working as planned: higher skill gives more useful information about flirting like whether NPC is in the mood for flirting and how much NPCs like/dislike your actions. 0.6 will have 100 points cap on communication skill. In future version we will increase the level cap and there will be other bonuses from leveling it up. By the way, the skill level also increases during conversation to some extent. Oh, and flirting level also grows when you use it.

Grocery store. The game finally has a grocery store (in the mall). For now it only has two items: chocolate bars and energy drinks. Both are really useful, though. You can get an energy boost or get rid of hunger whenever you need. It's junk food, though, so you have to wait a bit between eating more than two of either one.

Quest items. If you remember, Kate gets a package from college with her uniform and key card on the second day of the game. Now that the game has an inventory, you can see quest items in it. Obviously, you don't need to restart the game to get them or anything. Old saves should work just fine.

Now we can finally put 0.6 behind us and focus on 0.7. We're not just starting, some things are already done. But there's still a lot of work ahead of us. Soon you'll see images from new events.
