February is slowly coming to a close, so it's time to start our polls about 0.36. As a reminder, it's going to be focused on Max.
In case you don't remember finer details, some time ago we asked you to write down your ideas about what you'd like to see in the game. As a result, we've made a list of something like 80 points with all the ideas you've offered. Then we thought, what if we also add our own ideas to it to make a Big-Ass List of Future Ideas, or The List™ and let you vote on it. The problem is, when we did the first draft all the way back then, it had way over a hundred points and was absolutely massive, and we had to split it into categories. Now, that was just an internal file and it didn't have to be pretty and presentable, but if we were to show The List™ to the public, we'd also have to add a short description to every point so you'll know what we have in mind. Even adding only a couple of short sentences multiplied by well over a hundred points on The List™ would result in a colossal, giant wall of text. We're talking multiple pages of text here, like a lot, a lot of text. A wall of text you would have to read to know your options.
So we're thinking, instead of just dumping you into the deep end of the pool, what if we ease you in by starting with the category poll first, and then once you get familiar with the idea, we can either keep things like they are now (vote for categories first and
then only write down the options for the category that wins), or, if you prefer, in the future we can write The List™
before the category poll. Let us know in the comments.
So, here are the categories for 0.36 Max:
- 1. College. Sooner or later, Max has to get his life together and start working on getting into college. This is a new storyline so it won't have too many subcategories right from the start, so for now the options only include Karen and Veronica tutoring Max, and then Max tutoring Lisa and Olivia.
- 2. Cameras. Right now Max's show it pretty basic and we could spend some time adding various gameplay elements to make it more interactive than passive income.
- 3. Ann. Plenty of options here: the pool, the bathroom, yoga, sleeping in her room, TV, etc.
- 4. Alice. Again there's already plenty of content with her, so we can continue her storyline with Kate, more punishments, watching TV with Max, adding Kate into the mix, etc.
- 5. Lisa. New punishments, various events all over the house, late night events.
- 6. Kira. Porn, the pool, late night events in the living room, etc.
- 7. Kate. This category would benefit from us being able to—in the future—add it into the game from Kate's perspective. We can add new events in the villa, or we could send Max to visit Kate's house to have all kinds of fun at her place, too.
Once we have a clear winner, we'll start a second poll with individual points for our 20+ Patrons.
