It's a streamlined version of BB without Eric.
Main problem is that Glamour was actually planned as a game with female protagonist (as in the original Glamour 2016).
See the original announcement by dev in OP :
They struggled with the female protagonist story and also with the option to add a male protagonist to the game, so they decided to cheat and ported a light version of BB (without Eric) into Glamour as male protagonist story and soon BB overtook Glamour ... so all the Kate fans were screwed. So sad ...
(I would not mind if they had continued an independent Kate story in parallel ... BB is not a bad game, it's just not the promised female protagonist open world game ...)
In retrospect one can say that dev failed with the female protagonist game and I think dev from the start failed to understand that players of female protagonist games look for a different content than players of male protagonist games like BB. A female protagonist does not fuck all the guys in the game unless she is a slut ...
DS' strength and interest seems to be the standard male protagonist BB games where Max can fuck all the females ... both his female protagonist Glamour games are abandoned.
Hello, and I'm replying to the above reply. If you don't understand something, please forgive me, but the translation is from Polish, because as a person with limited language skills, I can only translate it into English.
So, starting immediately after returning to it by accident, right after a few mission threads and well-executed dialogues in the game, as well as the steps with Max from BB or (if you chose Kate), it's well-thought-out and guided from the beginning of a given mission to the end, or until returning to it after subsequent threads and chapters.
Further commenting, it's nice that there are no characters like Eric, Alex, Olivia's boyfriend, or Petr, Maria's roommate, as in the simplified version of BB. Actions focused and rotated by 180 degrees or 360 (to the previously known threads starting with Ann's storyline, Max's housekeeper, then to Alice and ending or not with Kira), where this is not the case here in Glamour, and the threads of the initial hero (Max chosen as me) are the beginning of getting to know the whole house first at the beginning, then cameras placed to have a preview of the game on the laptop, slowly getting to know Kira's threads, then Ann's (her studies with Lisa instead of Kira), Ann's punishments on Max better or giving up sleeping with the heroines of Max, Lisa and her thread with (so-called oral and anal), meeting Olivia, Lisa's thread and submitting to Alice, Max with Kira in breaks between her work in front of the pool or yoga with Ann, and double action between Kira and Ann on the couch at night, Ann as a maid, Max's studies and meeting Kate, Zoe, and Other college heroines, and then Ann's revolt and return to punishing Max and Alice, leading to another mission, which is to play in the porn industry, and what else could be mentioned?
You know, if someone were to take it on again, perhaps fans or someone else, then there could even be a sequel without the creator, like in other games of this type, for example, if the game you know, Summertime Saga, which, despite its first version, is undergoing a second technical revision with better resolutions and new storylines, then probably BB and Glamour could still have a chance to return, even if it wasn't for a given year or period. But there's always a chance for someone else to commit to these characters as Ann, Alice, Lisa, Olivia, and Kira, so as not to forget them, but to return as long as possible and continue and finish the game decently, even if it were to have parallel worlds in the game with female and male characters, because there's truly no end to the number of ideas for such character plots.
So, despite the problem, as I described at the end of the previous post, there are many ideas for inventing storylines for both characters, so that the game can continue after version 0.57 to get what it deserves.
And I agree with your further description that it is:
- as freedom and a well-developed questline
- many NPCs living around the main characters
- as further levels of the hero's or heroine's storylines
- Dating for both male and female protagonists
- Minigames, which are lacking for a game, except for the Conversation and its three stages, as well as learning from history to physics and three types of learning: first three lessons, then 10, and finally an extra lesson.
- Two Worlds, and plenty of ideas for that if it were developed further. - The Android version is a good plus (e.g., for tablets, because then the game plays better; I know how good it is).
- The graphics are top-notch, and the characters themselves are refined, from Ann to Kate, Lisa, Alice, etc.
Answering here as towards the end, maybe it wouldn't be a problem, but even though you mentioned "problems with a female programmer," there weren't any ideas to surpass it, or maybe there was a chance for a relationship if it were diversified properly, etc.
Finally, it's a combination of the worlds of Kate and Max. Like you, I have no complaints after playing it, and it's fun to play and have fun, and you could even keep inventing new things, but it should have a continuous thread with the characters. But to the point, I also want to say that even if they didn't want to return to it, maybe someone else or the creator of the DS (Dark Silver) would return to it and use it as a guide for further sequels of a similar nature. I'm not going to forget about Max, as I think he's the only character I've remembered for a long time. I'd like to create another game with similar characters and not abandon it immediately. That's probably all I could do to respond to my comment and your reply. Thank you for quoting my post and replying.
P.S. Besides F95zone.to here, I'm sure I won't forget him, and despite the free-to-play DS Patron and the higher threshold, I'll also be able to post a comment about the game. Best regards. Sorry for the long message.
