Is there a protocol for suggesting tags be added to threads on this site? I’ve seen multiple people pass this up because they think, due to the lack of tags, that there isn’t any sex yet. The tags I believes should be added are Anal Sex, Ahegao, Big Tits, Creampie, Female Domination, Footjob, Handjob, Harem, Oral Sex, Prostitution, Rape, Slave, Titfuck, Vaginal Sex, Virgin, Monster Girl, Religion

The Multiple Endings tag applies I think because of the three routes, but those endings aren’t in the game yet so I don’t know about that one.

In seriousness though, I respect your decision either way but you may want to give the game a try. You play as a Futa (cock and balls) but you do have an option to disable “male” (the game calls them male but they are again Futa with cock and balls) love interests. So the only people you have sex with are girls. In my opinion, the story is really good, definitely worth your time. If it still puts you off though that is okay.

I would enjoy a game about futa on futa, especially if it's grimdark/dystopian where you can play as dominant/rapey. Trans on female could work for me, so maybe I'll have a look, but as of now I have a number of games on my hard drive that I haven't had the time to play yet, so there's also that.

And yeah, really hate the vocal minority that downvote and complain when games don't cater to their fetishes or cater to a fetish they don't like. There is a shit ton of games out there, just play the games that have content you like and avoid the ones that don't. This goes double for anyone prefering vanilla and/or the most common non-vanilla fetishes.

Well, the "asset issues" could have easily been prevented by using another renderer and he was using copyrighted Square-Enix Nier:Automata music...
I dare say the dev doesn't have a habit of making smart decisions.
The current update (which was pretty huge compared to to previous ones) also just gave the dev about 15 more likes and an extra 38$ in Patreon income...
This suggest it flopped and the game fails to attract new users, which may lead to it being canceled.
I don't want that because I enjoy it despite its major flaws.


I didn't check the game's source code, but in my experience different choices before chapter 2 just give you a few lines of flavor text (+ path points) and then everything continues as normal.
In chapter 2 your only choice is pick-a-prostitute, which doesn't seem to have a consequence so far (not a real choice).
So as far as I see it your only choice is which path you want to play and the rest is like a kinetic novel.


I don't remember calling the whole game trash.
Just like I said... I dislike most aspects of it, but the story is good.

My mods don't fix the game, they make it playable for me and probably would for many others, that think female character models would be more believable as female/futa characters, not men.
However with how unpopular the game is I'm afraid most people have it on ignore already.
Me not having released my updated mod yet (still need to finish 1 path) doesn't help either, but I doubt it would even make a difference at that point.

Realistically the dev would have to make an option to let players choose their preferred gender pronouns for the female character models and actively advertise this.
But since it took 8 months to even implement instant text speed and the dev isn't even here, that's unlikely to happen as well

You are claiming that using other “renderes” offers as much as HS2 does? Out of the bat with mods its 150Gigs with many assets and a lot of modders and porters.

Which your argument is invalid when it comes to that as it is public that he was using it temporarily and no longer is.
All you say is to undermine the developer’s work, undermine the fact that there is a clear love and passion put to it. And an interest to improve the game and how it was, the map, the menus and even the battle system got further upgrades as well as Quality of Life features, which you mentioned.

Writing, developing, rendering, animating and improving current systems took SIX MONTHS while in university.

What did you do this past six months?

I feel like we can get really dark choices in the human route and the beast route for that at least I hope that’s the case, just not yet although theres a fucked up scene to a sense in Chapter 1. (Rape)

I really should have paid more attention to the genre tags before playing this. Good looking game, but definitely not for me.

My only real recommendation for the developer is this: Allow us to see the men and women variations of a scene in the gallery without having to make a different save to do so. For example it's just super clunky that I have to have two saves for the human route, one to see Rheiner and Nyx at the bar, and one to see the scene with the girl just to use the gallery for it. I can understand needing multiple saves for actually playing through the game but let the gallery have more freedom.

Gallery seems broken, something about the player name not being set?
Also some kind of indicator about which sections have sex scenes in them would be nice. Unless they all do and I just missed it while I was dismissing renpy errors.

Daz3D does have more assets than Honey Select.
More specifically it does have fitting medieval fantasy armor for males, so there wouldn't be the problem with "having to" use female models because Honey Select males have very limited clothing options.

It's not as easy to learn as taking Honey Select screenshots, but it's worth learning if you want to make a serious game.
After all there is a reason all successful Honey Select games are harem and comedy - It just doesn't work for anything else.

Oh, and it also has a "character maker" as well as a realtime renderer.

I honestly prefer to give more credit to the creator who can do miracles with Honey Select and Koikatsu than DAZ Studio.

For me, devs like Caribdis (Once in a Lifetime) and Story Anon (Out of Touch) and others like it try much harder to make something visually interesting and genuinely enjoy what they do.

A few times, the narration refers to the MC as "the player", which probably shouldn't happen. Similarly, the MC's default name, Kai, still shows up a few times in Chapter 2, during the sex scene with Sheena. There's also the one time the MC randomly uses the "Jesus" exclamation, which makes no sense in this world...

There's a little inconsistency during the early scene in Chapter 2 (Elven Path) when MC is escorted to Sheena, where throughout the scene, his sprite is in armor, but in the renders, he isn't.

Finally, I'd like to comment on the map. This thing has given me quite a bit of trouble. This may just be my graphics card not getting along with Ren'Py again, but the map refuses to load most of the time; all I get is an error message saying "Out of memory". Clicking on ignore from there gives me a black screen with no way to progress. Luckily, by rolling back one screen from that black screen, Ren'Py doesn't try again and just displays the map screen, but without the actual map image in the background.
I'm kinda curious if anyone else runs into a similar problem... Anyway, I figured I should mention this.

I never had any out-of-memory issues.
I think that should be either memory of the disc or memory of ram.

Hello spinningcoindevil, I saw your review and felt responsible for potentially misleading people by having the rape tag added to this game. I suggested its addition because of the scene from chapter 1 that was interrupted which you are familiar with. I asked the developer if there would be any more rape scenes in the game or if I should request it’s removal from the thread, and he replied that “there will be many” more rape scenes.

It would be interesting a route "in the shadows" where the MC is in the country of the humans, but it hits them from the inside, acquiring allies from within and putting the enemies (the three leaders) against each other, being able to even create a civil war.

It would be a great addition and, in terms of the story, it would give a great opportunity for elves and beasts to reclaim their own territory.
