Well, finished the elven route... i really don't get the authorial intent behind this game, it's like the opposite of a power fantasy, you will be used, you will be abused, you will be powerless to help innocents, you will have to work with butchers and psychopaths, you will be raped... i just don't get what the end goal is or what the point will have been after the story is complete... why make this game this way? Why write this story this way? What does Chrys want us to feel and why do they want to have us feel that way? I get that artists need to stretch beyond their previous work from time to time but i would never have imagined this coming from the author of braveheart academy... it's just so utterly different in every way.

I'm still undecided if i respect or detest this game for what it is but it continues to hold my attention even if i'm pretty sure i don't like it.

I think the point was to specifically diversify the routes to play the roles of the nations of the game.

Hence the names of the choices, and the Elven route has a little bit of that which is the liberation.

My opinion is that the routes are fine as of now, I didn't like the fact that it ended the way it ended.
(But plot-wise it makes sense and it does a great job of showing how hard they struggled, even though teeth gritting )

But I can tell they are not made to be similar at all and I have to "swallow my pride for my nation" in the Elven route.
I'd bitch-slap the fuck out of Shuria right then and there, and chrys better give me the option to do so later on :LUL:

I believe he wanted to make a dark fantasy. Similar to the vein of Game of Thrones, characters aren’t safe and difficult decisions have to be made. Bad things happen. Kai is strong but he isn’t over powered. We’ve already met two characters who can cancel out or suck the magic right out of him (Shuria and Kamui). In the elven route, you have a race dwindling in numbers whose main source of wealth is selling themselves into slavery, so to win the war you have to make alliances. But those alliances have their own agendas and things get messy. Unfortunately, when people play lewd games many don’t seem to want Game of Thrones. It flies right in the face of many people’s fantasy of being strong and in control, and having many beautiful women love and have sex with you and only you. And that’s perfectly fine to want that. I think that’s why people gravitate toward the beast route, because Kai says “Nah fuck this shit, you bastards are gonna die” none of this treaty stuff, none of this siding with the evil humans stuff. It comes closest to the standard power fantasy, I mean he barely arrives and he’s already about to be made king. But things there may take a turn where everything doesn’t go Kai’s way as well, it’s war and it’s messy. I hope more and more people can try it, and appreciate it for what it is, and know that there’s room for all sorts of different types of stories in the adult game genre.

I only have one concern, and that is Braveheart Academy Two.
I hope none of this translates to that game, because I really enjoyed the (somewhat dummy) happy-go-lucky vibe of the original.

Which I believe is going to be worked on next if I remember correctly.

I personally can't wait for the Beast CH3, which is my favorite but I'm also curious to see how the human route goes about.
There's so much to learn about them, on both sides, hope we can start fucking up those humans  !

I wouldn’t worry about that. There was allegedly some ntr/rape content as bad ends or something in Braveheart 1, but as with that game I’m sure it’ll only be a small amount of side content in those genre’s if any. A lot of people don’t want to do the human route, but I as well an looking forward to seeing how that goes. I want to play that villain fantasy XD

Had to quit playing. I'm not a masochist and that seems to be what the game is about, inflicting as much pain and humiliation on the MC as possible. It has it's audience i'm sure it's just not for me. Enjoy and good luck.

So far in the chapter 2 beast and human routes he hasn’t been humiliated. You may want to give those a shot, but if you don’t then that’s fine too

I find it amusing Chrys goes to the effort of giving Kai a high collar in the beast route, yet does nothing about the hair clipping through it 99% of the time... you'd think a change of hairstyle or hair length would go along with the costume choice since the clipping would be so front and centre constantly but... nope... not even a ponytail.

Alright, so am i missing something? I've done the elven route, the beast route and now i'm going to try and stomach the human route for the sake of completionism, but something doesn't add up, from Sheena's perspective, there is no difference between Kai's actions between the elven route and the human route, yet in the eleven route he is immediately imprisoned and in the human route he is courted? You can make choices to cut routes off but all 3 can be available with the right choices right? So there should be no difference, so wtf makes Sheena decide on imprisonment over courting in the elven route? I get the routes need to diverge but there should be an in-universe reason for her decision and yet i did not see one, in the elven route he goes home and is arrested soon after (the next morning i think?), in the human he is escorted upon getting to the gates, the divergence is there but the reasoning is not... so...?

That’s a good question; I wondered that myself when I played it. The only reasoning I could apply to that would be conjecture, because as you said nothing is explicitly stated. Assuming you were making the choices to unlock all the routes, when Sheena looked into your mind she probably would have saw doubt in Kai. And him being as important as he is, she most likely has soldiers spying on him. So with her most likely being on red alert, the only guess I can make is that once you make that concrete decision to go elf route, something Kai said aloud or a vibe he gave off through his actions lead psychotic Sheena to be like “fuck it I’m not risking it, he’s not 100% on board let’s just get rid of him”. Also, since you made it this far did you have an H scene you liked the best?

Not really, they're all varying levels of decent to good, although i'm not keen on the ahegao expression or the stupidly fast speed things sometimes get to just before climax. Still, i blew a few loads throughout my playthroughs so consider that a tick of approval. Why do you ask?

Oh, i should add, i'm not into rape, so any that didn't contain obvious enthusiastic consent were skimmed through.
