Obviously I have no insider knowledge but from what I've seen so far I believe it's something along the lines of "each path is different because the MC is on the side of x" like the butterfly effect in Until Dawn and similar games.

Now I obviously gave my opinions about each path but the main thing about each is that currently:
- The Humans are more crusader like and in their path they may indeed be righteous
- The Beasts are vengeful and will likely want a lot of blood
- The Elves want the threat the humans pose to be extinguished but aren't warmongers (thus the coalition)

With all that said the Elven Path introduced a choice that seems to make the MC go down a dark path (SPOILER Refusing Arcaena results in her hanging Doki Doki style) so we may be able to go for a more "Paragon" or "Renegade" route for all the paths down the line.

I'm sorry, but as of version 1.3, the dev has introduced some external code for playing and displaying audio track info during the game. It is currently not compatible with Android and I am not on board for re-writing these functions to android, so I will not be updating the game.

Alright, so am i missing something? I've done the elven route, the beast route and now i'm going to try and stomach the human route for the sake of completionism, but something doesn't add up, from Sheena's perspective, there is no difference between Kai's actions between the elven route and the human route, yet in the eleven route he is immediately imprisoned and in the human route he is courted? You can make choices to cut routes off but all 3 can be available with the right choices right? So there should be no difference, so wtf makes Sheena decide on imprisonment over courting in the elven route? I get the routes need to diverge but there should be an in-universe reason for her decision and yet i did not see one, in the elven route he goes home and is arrested soon after (the next morning i think?), in the human he is escorted upon getting to the gates, the divergence is there but the reasoning is not... so...?

There are key differences in my opinion that allude, and that is his behaviour after conquering alashkamir and the clear grown hatred for them. At least I'd like to believe that the others around the camp would be conscious of what Kai is doing/saying.

That’s a good question; I wondered that myself when I played it. The only reasoning I could apply to that would be conjecture, because as you said nothing is explicitly stated. Assuming you were making the choices to unlock all the routes, when Sheena looked into your mind she probably would have saw doubt in Kai. And him being as important as he is, she most likely has soldiers spying on him. So with her most likely being on red alert, the only guess I can make is that once you make that concrete decision to go elf route, something Kai said aloud or a vibe he gave off through his actions lead psychotic Sheena to be like “fuck it I’m not risking it, he’s not 100% on board let’s just get rid of him”. Also, since you made it this far did you have an H scene you liked the best?

So I agree with RH here.
I believe 100 percent that Yannei, the captain in charge of Kai's squad is communicating/relaying what Kai has been doing/did.
And most likely caused fear making everyone DEFINITELY on high alert after nuking half a mountain.

Why do I believe this?
The appearance of Temisar, who is a captain of captains(Forgot the correct term for them).

Yannei commented on that, don't recall exactly but I am sure she was caught off guard by one of the top dogs showing up in Alashkamir.

What was the first thing he did?
Aim for Kai, intimidation style.

At least that's how I view things, not saying that these are 100% correct, but this is how I interpreted these events around Chapter 1's ending.
I feel it is really well written and you can tell there are strings being pulled, I initially also shrugged off his appearance when I first played the game, but then I saw how deep the game could go.

I can feel things happening around me, I know shit is going down and I can't tell what the fuck it is and I LOVE IT!

Man, it's a shame that Leatrix (Lea) has to be locked behind such an (in my opinion) horrible route (human route) it would seem like Lea would at least be able to go over to the Elven route since she doesn't like that the Elves are being imprisoned.

I would like to take Rheiner as well, but it feels like Human society is so ironed into him that it wouldn't work out.

Y'know, I wonder why they even bother with gender when the "men" and women are pretty much exactly the same except for their genitals, and the fact that people have to wear some piece of clothing broadcasting what they have in their pants feels especially dumb. If everyone's going to be some hot chick capable of growing tiddies who the fuck cares if you've got a dick or a pussy? The fact that there's characters who present themselves extremely feminine but get referred to as "men" with masculine pronouns just because they've got a schlong just doesn't sit right with me.

I feel like the refusing the love route in the elven story feels bad. Not a fan of the codependence and really didn't like there wasnt a way to prevent that besides locking you out of other routes..... and the other scene with the witch also feel bad.... idk gonna give the other routes a shot but so far disappointed I dont have more agency to smooth things out or refuse. maybe make the night with the witch skip able and the death scene skipable because that shit kind of ruined my day.

We may not like it, but it's not bad either since this is definitely subjective, and being where we are I bet some people loved the shit out of that. This is a heavy plot game in my opinion and the H Content is definitely an extra, having that in consideration if you look at it without the cock in the hand I don't see any Harem being feasible in the elven route plot-wise.

The Queen wants you, one of the twins loves you and there's also Arcaena to consider.
(For now, let's be realistic and not try to fuck everything that breathes)

The Queen would NEVER allow you to be with anyone else at least openly (which is exacerbated by Kai going around fucking Arcaena behind her back).

The twins are two oddballs that live with Kai daily still making their relationship as awkward as it is.
They don't show it to the ESS or anyone else for that matter meaning they are aware that they have to be discrete about it.

I think if there was a harem in the Elven route, it would be trash writing.

Now that the small stuff is out of the way.

Like I know why that stuff happened I just would have liked the option to keep the arcaena scene like a off screen thing? I didnt like I had to see her dead. Its just a uncomfy subject that I didnt feel the game teed up in a way I saw coming. I just would like an option to skip looking at it if its one of the choices. like still kill her but I dont want to see her hanging

Even if you remove the graphic part of it, at least for ME, I'd have had the same reaction in the end (deletion of the save itself) You (the MC) act like an asshole, break someone's heart and they kill themselves because of you then you're supposed to tell yourself "welp, she's dead, guess I have to go for someone else"
Oh well, guess I'll be doing a single route for elves. (unless some other LI are added after this)
