Thanks for not deleting your initial post when you went to edit it. I tried something similar months ago and realized how the part 2 and part 3 versions were numbered confused me. Now I would like to know when the "save now" will appear in my Part 1 version 0.16 so I can safely load part 2, 0.37, so afraid I'll miss it. :D
This is pretty simple, and it's the same for part 1 AND part 2 (and will probably be the same for all parts)
Look for this screen, when it shows "SAVE NOW!" in giant letters in the middle and the text at the bottom starts with "SAVE NOW!"

You have to save on this screen. If you missed it by accident, the bottom text will tell you to roll back.

So I accidentally deleted the game, including all files (ob the android), do I need to play Part 2 all over again?

Note: My personal statement on other people's opinions is: Everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter how wrong it may be. :)
lol Don't forget, it works both ways.
When person A gives their opinion of the game, or the dev, other people are equally free to express their opinion of his opinion.
Person A does not have the monopoly on expressing their opinions.

Being entitled to hold an opinion is very different from being entitled to freely express that opinion, in public, without some form of comeback.
Ultimately, if people do not wish to have their opinion contested, they should keep it to themself. That's why it's a "personal" opinion.
If they choose to willingly put it out there, then it's up for debate. Particularly when they state it on a discussion forum.

My apologies if my joke was difficult to get. I understood that HP was probably saying "No" to the comment that the MC looks too old. I deliberately misunderstood, as if he was denying that it was the poster's opinion. In most cases, barring deliberate comedic intent, and barring telepathy on the part of the commenter, we pretty much must assume that when someone states that Z is their opinion, it is their opinion.

My sometimes non-lengthy answers can be a bit tricky to interpret ;)

This again....

The lack of an over-arching story is a very valid criticism for something that styles itself a type of novel.

Do the reviews here equate to money in the dev's pocket, or what? Do y'all have a sense of personal ownership of this project and feel a need to constantly defend it?

I fucking LOVE this serialized-romp... but break down the acts for me. Where is the hero's journey? something?! anything!?

its just a romp of fuck to fuck to fuck to fuck. it works for me, but it is totally a vaild critisicm. And the bullying of other opinions here is... saddening.

Giving constructive criticism is one thing, behaving like an entitled idiot is an altogether different story. I have absolutely zero problems with anyone not liking any given VN but that doesn't mean I'm ok with them behaving like assholes about it.

I will NOT correct you. It is a rather important point.

This is after all styled as a "Novel". To any purist, this comes with certain expectations. Like you mentioned, Acts, transformations, resolutions (we are still far from it) and a few others.

What this is, in spite of being styled as a novel, is a sort of Diary. In this specific genre, the expectations are completely different and it is styled more like a biography (even if fictional) rather than a "Novel". From my understanding, this "medium" is still young and still looking for what standards to use. It can't completely use the purely visual mediums rules, because it is meant to be more static. It can't use the purely written mediums rules, because it has a visual component. It can't use the cartoons mediums, because it is meant to be interactive. It can't really use the (also still developing) Video Games rules, because the interactivity is limited. What rules to follow, right now, is still a work in progress. Should it be judged by a lack of structure, if it wasn't meant to have one? Should it be judged for having too much choice or too little choice? Should it be judged for the dialogues qualities, if there isn't a standard to measure it?

The major point I am trying to make relevant, is that right now, quality needs to be subjective, not objective, until, with time, the community will be able to coalesce on a group of standards to help with the measure of quality. Right now, the measure is; I like it ===> it's good. It is a nightmare to quantify? Yes, it is. It is a nightmare to Classify? Even worse.

Should we be "demanding" from the authors a strict adherence to rules created for completely different mediums, with completely different objectives (even if they can be reduced to Tell a Story) and going to entertainment goals that have been relegated to the "low end of literary quality" by the moralities polices. Should we judge this has harshly as a literary product? Or as loosely as a Porn Movie? Somewhere in an undefined middle? What do we look for: Structure? Progression? Immersion? Dramatic Qualities? Is this a Play? Is this a Movie? Is this a Game? Is this a Drama? ...........

Since we (collectively) haven't reached a consensus if a standard is even desirable, needed or possible, any other measure above "I like it" is not really feasible.

Some of the works we see here (and I am sure that very few even see more than 10% of what is available) differ between objectives so much that they seem completely unrelated, even when they seem connected by covering the same "kinks".

So, I am sorry, but I feel that it is yet very soon to even try to say if having a story or not is a good or a bad thing. Much less if what type of story is even desirable hasn't even been determined too...

There is a overabundance of question marks in this post, because it isn't meant has a statement, but has a thought provoking and conversation starter ( maybe not on this thread).

Don't feel obligated to reply.

Peace :)

Where is this styled as a novel with an over-arching story, a hero's journey or anything else like that? The overview makes it pretty clear that there's none of that. If someone reads it and comes in expecting a deep and meaningful story, that's on them.

A lot of these reviews could be avoided if those people had some more common sense, read the overview and checked the tags.
