It's been abandoned 3 or 4 times. That Patreon post was made after the tag was already added here. It will be removed when an update comes.
Dev is very slow, it might be one of the best games in terms of everything but it'll take atleast 6 yrs to complete, it's better to look for this game in every 2 yrs if you want good amount of content or maybe by that time it gets abandoned for real
