I thought I would leave the comments section for this game untill the next release, but the amount of over sensitive souls wondering this threat forced my hand.

Go play the last update to the Deluca Family to get some perspective! Haley was sexually active with her teacher. While technically statutory rape, I think people need some perspective.

There are literally things that can happen to people that are a 1000 x times worse. In the bigger scheme of things what happened to her was relatively insignificant compared to some other horrors of life. Not trying to make light of it and also depending on the information we know as fact, up to know.

I get that some people felt the change in tone came out of nowhere and does not want to continue, but to suggest that this was the worst thing out there, even on this forum is a bit ignorant.

This game does not contain anything close to borderline content except the incest. It deals with complex issues that deeply effects the relationship of the two main characters. I'm looking forward to how everything will unfold. I do not think the Dev will change his game and I for one would hate it if he does due to player pressure. Then it's not his story anymore, but the fan's story...and frankly, I much prefer him to tell his story. I would not like to play any story compiled by the complainers on here, as I'm sure that it would suck.

It's a pet peeve for me if Dev/writers change their story to please the fans. Sure constructive criticism is good, but in the end, it's not your story to tell.

BTW...there is not NTR or Rape currently present in the game, the fact that it is referenced in the past does not make it part of the game.

It's called telling a story... you might have heard of it. Sometimes stories touches darker themes. There are other games on this site with much darker themes then this one, see point above.

I did not tell you to leave, but I think you made your point. This exact same topic has been discussed in ad nauseum, just after the update was released. After a while it starts to become tiresome.(I only said what I normally do if I start disliking a game)

If you still enjoy playing the game, by all means continue posting here. If you don't enjoy the game anymore and still want to post...sure thing, I just don't see the point.

What does get under my skin (Not saying you did that), is when people try to get the Dev to change his game. Now that really annoys me. If ppl think they can do better then the dev, they should just write their own game. Constructive criticism and fan opinion is good, but it should stay just that. Advice to the dev, that the dev can choose to ignore, use or not use to his liking.

Pressuring the dev to change his story to what the fans like, is not cool in my book. The normal argument is NTR/Non-NTR fans trying to get the dev to change his story. It's fine to state your opinion but at some stage one should let the dev get on with the story his got in mind. There is enough abandoned games on here where the dev lost his passion for the game.

You obviously don't know why people complain about. Yes, TDF is the great game - among my favourites and Luna is my No. 1 - but TDF was from the start a mix of light and dark tones. We know who is Luna and we know she didn't become out of blue like that.

Haley? Haley was nothing but a light romance with expected incest route as the game progress. And then it started - out of blue and without logic - at first with Haley's "Daddy" idiocy. Some players didn't like that and - lo and behold - they were right. And even AFTER we learned about "pedo Santa Claus", Haley continues with her "Daddy" shit. Why is that important? It's important cause you mentioned game doesn't have NTR or rape... Well - either writer is autistic so he doesn't know what he is doing with this "Daddy" trope and Klaus story or he is preparing the path for real daddy. But, hey! That wasn't enough! No, sir! So, now we have two girls with the history of being raped/molested.

I Actually do get your point about the light hearted romance turning darker. I just think people are overblowing what happened and are losing their marbles. My point about TDF, was to illustrate that there are much worse things that can happen to characters in a game then what happened to Haley, that was relatively mild in comparrison.

Regarding her calling the MC "Daddy". Personally, for me the "daddy" pet-name is extremely irritating. It is irritating in any game I play. I did not like it in Depraved Awakening and I do not like it in Haley. But I realise, that that is just my personal preference. So it's an irritation that I live with, when playing adult games containing this. It was irritating for me before the last 2 updates. I'm not reading any alterior motives into the whole daddy, since I did not like it in general.

The way I read it is much more simple. It's a playful name she calls him. The MC (like myself) tolerated it, but since he's annoyed with the Klaus story, it's grating on him and asks her to stop. Haley, being Haley, likes to annoy her brother and does not stop. Simple...that is how I read the whole "Daddy" thing. I think you are reading waaaayy to much into it.

So I just do not see the big deal about the last 2 updates. Haley has some skeletons in the closet, she brought it up in an inappropriate time. She keeps being evasive about it, possible feeling guilty about while being the victim.

TLDR; I understand people feeling upset about the change in pace and the darker turn of the game, but for me it just made the game more interesting.

Actually there Is a line before that makes all the difference.

MC asking what would you do if someone Hurt somebody you love (or Some thing similar. Dont remember exactly).

If they rape or abuse victor instead of sandra in next update for sure they will be People arguing that with the "somebody you love" line MC was refering to victor. That it makes sense and that their loving relationship whas there clearly shown before in the script.

If they rape victors boyfriend for example they will still follow the same pattern
Afterall the dude seems suspiciously quiet and uneasy with People. A perfect rape candidate. Raping him at As point of the story must be mandatory.

Then again if they rape sandra or abuse her As clearly hinted then still wont be an issue, cause of the meaningless and unimportancy of our existence and LOTR.

2 people in Last posts argued that their understanding of haley's daddy references Is a plaything and shes just teasing the MC.

MC believes this Is an abusal case, has refered to his Sister he believes there Is a connection in daddy references to Mr Klaus, he Is running around in a bike like a headless chicken trying to find him, he Is clenching teeth, gets wasted in bars, and when haley hits him up again with a daddy references he Goes "He.. He"
And the find logic in that, arguing that MC gets he Is teased, cause dev Is peter Jackson of porn gaming and not a fool (at least in that certain case).

Gamesglory whos Is mainly rendering in ptolemys team makes guest star appeariances in the thread.
In his Last one didnt even know haley went daddy Mode 3 or 4 times before fucking with MC for the 2nd time in Last update. Yet again there are People who argue that he knows what he Is talking about.

In his previous apperiance he was pointing out that this Is a pirates site and bitching how Games are stolen from patreon. At the same time he Is at lexis thread promoting that game through this site!!!

People find this to make sense. And Cant see the obvious. That he Is restricted from his position of a devs team employee on what he Is "allowed" or obliged to say. Or that lexis dev Is more F95 friendly and doesnt put up sticks in empoyees or coworkers bums.

I've got a few problems with this, after thinking about it for way too long in the shower.

Just so we're on the same page, I'm assuming you think people that read comic book issues as they come out and don't wait for the complete arc are doing themselves a disservice?

If so, I don't really see how the rest of the story has anything to do with how people interpret the beginning. Anyone playing it fresh with no spoilers can be just as put off by 'the reveal' as those of us that played it live. Just because they get an instant gratification of what happens doesn't mean they won't possibly experience a tonal shift. I admit they will likely have suppressed opinions playing it as a complete package but that goes for both the good and bad.

I'm also not sure 'the reveal' puts people in the best frame of mind to enjoy it going forward. I realize my opinion is stronger than someone who could play this in one afternoon but stick with me here.

To me, the reveal was like finding a hair in my half finished salad I was really enjoying. Some people would leave the restaurant, furious and demanding a refund. Certainly others would get the free meal out of it, but some would be searching for hair the entire time and not be able to fully enjoy it, no matter how good it actually is.

I just don't see how HS being incomplete changes anything. I know there are certain complaints (or complainers) you're trying to shut down with the argument but I don't think it's valid without some kind of focus that you're not currently presenting.

Actually there Is a line before that makes all the difference.

MC asking what would you do if someone Hurt somebody you love (or Some thing similar. Dont remember exactly).

If they rape or abuse victor instead of sandra in next update for sure they will be People arguing that with the "somebody you love" line MC was refering to victor. That it makes sense and that their loving relationship whas there clearly shown before in the script.

If they rape victors boyfriend for example they will still follow the same pattern
Afterall the dude seems suspiciously quiet and uneasy with People. A perfect rape candidate. Raping him at As point of the story must be mandatory.

Then again if they rape sandra or abuse her As clearly hinted then still wont be an issue, cause of the meaningless and unimportancy of our existence and LOTR.

2 people in Last posts argued that their understanding of haley's daddy references Is a plaything and shes just teasing the MC.

MC believes this Is an abusal case, has refered to his Sister he believes there Is a connection in daddy references to Mr Klaus, he Is running around in a bike like a headless chicken trying to find him, he Is clenching teeth, gets wasted in bars, and when haley hits him up again with a daddy references he Goes "He.. He"
And the find logic in that, arguing that MC gets he Is teased, cause dev Is peter Jackson of porn gaming and not a fool (at least in that certain case).

In his Last one didnt even know haley went daddy Mode 3 or 4 times before fucking with MC for the 2nd time in Last update. Yet again there are People who argue that he knows what he Is talking about.

In his previous apperiance he was pointing out that this Is a pirates site and bitching how Games are stolen from patreon. At the same time he Is at lexis thread promoting that game through this site!!!

People find this to make sense. And Cant see the obvious. That he Is restricted from his position of a devs team employee on what he Is "allowed" or obliged to say. Or that lexis dev Is more F95 friendly and doesnt put up sticks in empoyees or coworkers bums.

Maybe he (like me) is angry and disgusted with the fact that an teacher, took advantage of his sister when she was still 15.
The "daddy" thing to me seems like a mild irritation and is pretty much irrelevant. It's an annoyance, nothing more.
The MC is irritated with the whole situation and is not in the mood for "playful" name calling.
