I wouldn't call it a "rape game" either but that doesn't mean some non native English speaker wouldn't.The resolution of that incident will occupy the rest of this game.
Yeah, how dare people discuss a game in its discussion thread.....Jeez, i unwatched this Thread after the "reveal" of Haley's past because the Drama that came up here was annoying af. Almost 2 Months later i checked in to see a new Version is coming, and the drama still continues.![]()
I suspect it has flared up because a new release is about to drop.Jeez, i unwatched this Thread after the "reveal" of Haley's past because the Drama that came up here was annoying af. Almost 2 Months later i checked in to see a new Version is coming, and the drama still continues.![]()
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! As if! Rape is reprehensible in just about every country in the world, not just in English-speaking countries.I wouldn't call it a "rape game" either but that doesn't mean some non native English speaker wouldn't.
I'm really at a loss as to what your point is. You just admitted the game's now focused on the rape and aftermath and if some non English speaker shorthanded that to "rape game" I couldn't blame them, especially if their native language favors descriptors in front of words.BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! As if! Rape is reprehensible in just about every country in the world, not just in English-speaking countries.
If someone doesn't understand the English language enough to know what's going on, they might even think it's a game about hair style. That doesn't make it a hair-style game. And if someone claims it is, we should correct that misconception for their own good.
Agreed. As I've said I wouldn't call it a "rape game" personally for the reasons you've pointed out, but that doesn't mean everyone shares that opinion. It's a game about rape but rape here is not a tag, I mean rape games are about domination and kinky fantasies not about trauma.
So its clearly a story that at its current state the main plot Is the aftermath of a rape case. A meta rape story. It's a game about rape but rape here is not a tag, I mean rape games are about domination and kinky fantasies not about trauma.
Well, there is no rape scenes here so no rape tag is needed, plus the main theme of the game is still incest. Rape can be seen as the reason why incest happens here, that makes the incest in this game more realistic than in 99% of incest games. In many rape stories the act doesnt take place in present time. Its often presented As a memory, a confession, a nightmare.
There Is a game in this forum in which the MC recalls how he was being raped by his father when he was young. The player has the option to either see the scene rendered or dont see it and just read the description. That game has a rape tag. And its not about domination or kinky fantasies. Its about trauma.
Tag say shit about the content or the nature of the story in this forumWell, there is no rape scenes here so no rape tag is needed, plus the main theme of the game is still incest. Rape as a story component is irrelevant, all those games you just mentioned have rape scenes, this does not. It probably wasn't forcible rape, but statutory rape.Tag say shit about the content or the nature of the story in this forum
Go to last updates. Apply rape tag. Sort by likes. You get the following resaults in first page.

Almost Non of the above are rape games. In most of them rape is just am incident. In most of them rape is presented smoothened or even pleasurible. In trainers rape is just a device to train your pet.
HS doesnt have a rape tag . The rape isnt even presented visually though described and hinted in every detail. Its all about the aftermath of the incident as in most rape stories.
Its the core of game in its current state.
And its far more an actual rape story in its current state than "milfy city", "dod", "my cute roomate", "personal trainer", "life with pleasure" or the rest of the above.
You write "rape As a story component Is irrelevant"Rape as a story component is irrelevant, all those games you just mentioned have rape scenes, this does not. It probably wasn't forcible rape, but statutory rape.
I can name three games off the top of my head in which the protagonist is the rapist, Four Elements Trainer, Dual Family, and Rape Day. First of all, this game does not have any rape scenes, as pretty much every game with the rape tag has at some point or another. Rape is not the primary focus of the story, it is a big issue, but the main theme is one of love. This is a love story, not a rape one, and even so, I get the sense that rape was only committed in the statutory sense, in that she was too young to consent. You write "rape As a story component Is irrelevant"
All the rape taged Games in this forum have the rape As a story component. As a corruption mechanism, As a side kink, As a side incident or side story.
There Is no actual rape game existing. I am unaware of a game you actually play As a rapist and the rape Is presented in it True nature. Who would play a game to rape someone causing him real trauma both emotionally and physically? Who would play a game which against porn logic victim doesnt get addicted and gets pleasure from being raped, and gets emotiony destroyed? Who would play a game under the laws of reality where rape victims dont ask for more but end up under heavy medicine, drag issues, or commit suicide attemps.
Among all the Games-stories in this site, that are labeled with the tag rape., HS Is actually the most plot centered about a rape case.
Against porn/fappers logic the aftermath of a rape case Is the actual case in most rape stories or Movies, not the act.
AT its current state HS Is the Among the few True rape stories in this site.
Which, at the end of the day, is still rape. There's no dancing around or justifying that (not implying that you're trying to, just clarifying). And then there's the implied "abuse" of someone mentioned at the end of .60. May be rape, may not be. I know I just jumped in to a conversation, but I'm not trying to argue with anyone. Certainly not that this should be called a "rape game", because I feel like those are reserved for games where rape is an act perpetrated in the game, usually by the player character. However, MacGuffin or not, rape is a major part of the plot, and I don't think it would hurt to add the tag for new players just so they know what they'll eventually be getting into. As opposed to new players just diving in without reading reviews/this thread and being caught completely off guard like many of us who have been here for a while. At the very least, it may cut down on the complaints on this thread. I know that might seem like a dubious use of the tag, but it may help restructure the conversations on the thread, and lead to fewer reviews bashing the game solely out of anger from surprised players.I can name three games off the top of my head in which the protagonist is the rapist, Four Elements Trainer, Dual Family, and Rape Day. honestly man it is stupid to give bad review based on the supposed "rape" mentioned in last two updates, adding a rape tag to this game might lead to some potentional followers to reject it based on the tag alone after all not everyone reads the review and not everyone looks at the full half of the glass, logically this isn't a game that needs "rape" tag because as you said it isn't an act carried out in the game by player or actively engaged in by characters in it, it is a sad story about the past of main heroine and how some of her behaviours came to be based on it(i think). anyways debating about this is pointless waste of our times because people who want to hate the game will with or without the tag.Which, at the end of the day, is still rape.
