i just got to the point where haley told the MC she fucked Klaus when she was 15 and for some reason that pissed me off so much. if i was the MC i would probably do something stupid and drastic to Klaus

I also have this nagging feeling that there's going to be a twist, I think Sandras and Haley's relationship have a good chance to evolve into something different when on Sandra path. I would hate for it to turn into Sandra and Haley getting together, I can see this happening if the therapist manages to get to Haley and start "healing" her and she realizes that it's not healthy for her to cling to MC to such a degree or whatever. Honestly just wish for a happy ending in this game however, like a good old happy ending... don't mind a few twists along the road though.

you play the brother of Haley ... what makes you think the story deals you out ?
I think how it ends depends completely on how MANY endings the developer decides to produce. It is easy to envision endings where Haley and the MC are together, but no longer sexually, or even separated completely (on friendly terms or not). Can't you also foresee endings where the MC winds up in jail... or worse?

It all depends on how much time the developer wants to spend on creating diverse endings. But, basically, since the developer has gone to the trouble of creating meaningful choices and a points system, more than one ending seems inevitable - in addition to whether the MC is with Sandra or not.

Man on one hand I'm wishing that MC and Haley actually end up together like as they're. On other hand I'm like nah she's just with him because of that whole incident and all. It's just so confusing.
After MSMR didn't let me have a ending with best friend (yup i played not insest version) I'm just hoping this one gives me that. You know the connection that they have and everything it just looks right but what if it's not really what it looks like?
I think the dev should give us like bunch of endings so we can chose whatever we want.

ok i get what your saying ,, but again you play the MC which is the main character after Haley ... which you think you will get written out of the story ?

Have you never read a story where the hero dies?

That, of course, is the extreme, and I don't expect it here. But when you pick up a new book, without reading a review or synopsis, you never know how it's going to end until you get to the last pages. No one (but the developers) knows what is coming in the final release.

As always, I've updated my "decapitalization/dequote" mod for the current version. :)
  • GUI is tweaked to be slightly cleaner and more inline with most other VN's.
  • All extra quotation marks have been removed.
  • All familial capitalization has been removed - Uncle is now uncle, Brother is brother, etc.
  • All instances of "mom" and "dad" have been recapitalized where appropriate.
There may be another couple random tweaks that I've forgotten - as always, I've not done ANYTHING to the text aside from the "cleanup" stuff detailed above - any typos, grammar mistakes, or weird punctuation are absolutely as originally written by the devs.

So, I just finished binging the game (so far) and just have to share some thoughts.

First of, the writing is way above other VNs I've come across so far.
Really engaging, very funny at times, but never shallow or too artificial.

The characters also are actually likeable and relateable and feel like real human beings.

Victor's easily my favourite.
He grew on my pretty early on, and completely had me over with "Just the tip!" (Are we still doing "phrasing?"). If I was into men, he'd be the one: intelligent hunk with a heart of gold and some dark secrets.
His bf (sorry forgot the name) and his interacting with him and Haley is pretty much perfect, too.
Sandra started to annoy me a bit half way through, but seeing her get out of her shell gradually and her chemistry with Haley is very endearing and feels (for the lack of a better word) "organic".
Adriana's storyline was unexpected, but welcome.
The parents rule, and the banter when MC, Haley and Sandra almost walked in on them was epic.
Can't wait how the main storyline shakes out, I'm expecting a twist I might not like, but let's see.

Anyway, sorry for the rambling, just had to get this off my chest.

Can't wait how this continues/ends and seriously considering becoming a patron, too.

/edit: somebody please let me know if this had been better posted in the review section

I'm pretty sure your Dad didn't diddle Hailey. Her reaction to going back to the parent's house isn't like when meeting Hailey. There was an obvious reaction there.

And I say this, without sourcing it from anything at all, but people who have dramatic experiences tend to be a bit perverse, which may be the reason behind the Daddy thing... then again, it could also be behind her liking the MC.

Well, to be fair, I think that applies to seeing porn earlier in life as well. You tend to hit more extremes. I know I do! But then again..... when I saw "porn" as a kid, I didn't know it was porn. I thought it was an innocent girl doing innocent thing and didn't get it til years later.
