Uhm it is more that Haley for some reason decided to fuck her brother since he is likely one of the few men she loves and likely the only one she is able to fully give her trust to due to what happened.
In a way he is more a victim of her (emotional) needs as the other way around.You have it a little backwards on who is the one pursuing the relationship here. Haley is the one doing all the work to get and keep the relationship with her brother, even so far as trying to include his girlfriend in it rather then lose him to her.

If you look at the long host of "mc creepers, who molest and abuse their family members in sleep" and what not. I don't think the mc in Haley's story is an asshole, creep or what not. Flawed perhaps, but not an ahole. I suppose closer to reality a story get, the harder it become for people to relate.. funny that...

It's welcoming with a story that move things along rather than have to creep on someone in the shower 10 times, or molest someone in sleep over and over to progress anything. Or unlock scenes you can repeat over and over. Whatever unfold in Haley's story feel more organic.
