yesHi guys, the pre-patched file has incest? Thanks
I only just completed the (probably canon) Haley ending, and one thing I will say is... that path got mind-numbingly dragged out in the second half, and asked no input from the player starting with the halfway point. Which is strange, since I was not aware this was a kinetic novel rather than a VN. And the ending was expected, yet still incredibly rushed. The story flashes forward 6 months, but still bombards you with "this & that happened" right after the skip (which completely invalidates its inclusion) and then the story picks up with the "major" reveal and... ends almost 3 whole scenes later.Just finished all endings. The Sandra seemed to be the best laid out, but they all seemed a bit rushed and had lots of programming and language errors. Even had one slide in Adriana's ending where Haley's bush wasn't there at the beginning of the scene, but was back by the end.
I somehow didn't trigger either "non pregnant" ending for Sandra or Haley solo - it was easy to not trigger it in the Adriana ending (walk through told you as much). I just like to get all of the endings, but I'm not going to go back and try to replay for them = I watched them with the "preview" after I was done with all of the other routes I played.
One huge disappointment was that they never got back to the "other Haley" and showed the aftermath and impact (at least I didn't get it if they did). Even a news story flashing across the TV or a newspaper left on the table, or a Dad bringing up "did you hear about your old teacher?" conversation would have been nice. All that we know is that a couple of goons came to town and something happened.
Other disappointments were the lack of interactions with the side girls - at least one more scene with each for Diane, Alana and Lisa would have been nice. Finally, while I'm not big into MILF games, I wanted to see "Mom" in all her glory - a shower walk-in or something. That model is cute and reminds me so much of Robyn Lively, as rendered, that I really want to see her somewhere in action.
One final thought is that the music seemed to become an afterthought at the end as well. It was matched reasonably through much of the VN, but there was this one "ominous" track that would play in places where it just didn't seem to fit, or overplayed will after it should have stopped - it really broke the mood.
This one started with lots of promise and kept it going pretty well about 70% of the way, but fizzled in the end.
2 different npc's.Okay I dont know if this has been brought up before, but i just noticed this doing a replay, but one of the hooker candidates when youre with Lisa finding an escort is the Haley from your home town (other haley selling burgers). Theyre the same person ,right?
But it was a bit of a quick&dirty morph without adapting the textures, even the mark on the chin is at the same spot2 different npc's.
Look at the eyes, nose and mouth on them and you will see there different.
I dare say that the game dragged on for too long even before the flash-forward. The repeated visits to their hometown did very little, if at all, character development for MC & Haley. It didn't serve as any sort of guilt-trip or obstacle (due to the father catching on to their 'activities') to deepen their relationship. It was just... there. And then the writing forgot about MC & Haley's bosses that would certainly have a comment or two onI legit fell for Haley during my play-through. Granted, she could be a bit TOO immature at some points, but overall I found her surprisingly well developed and three-dimensional for a game like this. I was also glad that you could navigate this world of easy women without having to take any of them to bed. My biggest complaints echo what many have already said; once the "6 Months Later" transition kicks in, the writing takes a steep drop in quality and care, the events become far more reduced in scope and the ending arrives way too fast.
I was really looking forward to following along with the pregnancy and navigating the coming months with the parents buzzing around. Also, the plot regarding Klaus was left grossly unresolved for how much focus it originally received. Personally, I didn't want anything bad to happen to him necessarily, but I wanted to see Haley's full recovery from that trauma and we didn't. Lastly, on a more superficial level, I was a bit miffed I couldn't stop MC from shaving her after asking her to grow out her bush.
Overall, I did enjoy my time with the game, but unless the creator revisits it at some future point to provide a bit more closure and fan service, I doubt I will be unable to look back on this game with too much fondness.
While I agree overall, I don't think Haley's pregnancy would have to be something commented on other than the standard congratulations or whatever. Do you tell everyone you work with it about a relationship you're in? I'm not judging or anything, but personally I don't do that type of thing, so I really wouldn't reveal that either. And questions about it could just be summarized with things like, "He's a great guy" or "We're really in love" or similar. Just terrible ending overall, but the game was heading downhill well before that point. Especially when remembering that there were no consequences for choosing to deal with Klaus.
It's not the suspicion that I was asking for, but rather just show us more impact of that development. The latter half of the entire game/path is just back-and-forth between their apartment, and their childhood home. And for a game that started out with relatively stellar writing for Haley & MC, we deserved to see more of their lifeWhile I agree overall, I don't think Haley's pregnancy would have to be something commented on other than the standard congratulations or whatever. There are many good things about this game, as you've explained. I enjoyed those parts immensely myself. Unfortunately, the endings are reflective of the writing team which tends to do a bad job of quality control. If you haven't seen or played it yet, their next game is Taming of the Brat, which does not have the same type of focus (sibling romance). It also suffers from the quality control issues, however, FYI. You might give it a try, although as I say, it's considerably different and a less good story IMO. I enjoy it for certain characters and some of the humor, but overall it's definitely inferior to this one.Halsey personality was well developped, I suspect the write took a real personality to write the character. Game was good but as some people have said it is a bit bad near the end. Many plots are left unanswered, some scene doesn't bring anything to the story but I can forgive this since life is not always about doing something relevant. I wish there would have been more choice but overall it's good because for once there is a good romance story not just lust. Sister incest shouldn't be about lust but love which some games often forget, you don't just fuck your sister to fuck her. If you do, you need a very very very good reason which is often love. The reason of their love is not really well explained, siblings get very close but usally not that way, most of the time in incest there is a strong reason to swing that way. At least I would assume, I am no expert, I just use common sense. Writer should continue in romanced focus story, keep on developping character like Halsey, it's rare to see a personality like her.
That's what I always say that distinguishes Haley's Story from a ton of other sister-incest stories - it is love. And this love is so well written that we can feel it. Pity that the developers had to rush to close the story so abruptly.Halsey personality was well developped, I suspect the write took a real personality to write the character. I wouldn't say their love is well written, as we aren't given any believable reason as to why Haley is in love with her brother - or why the MC is in love with her. From the story told, they have always been rather close, but at some point Haley suggests she was infatuated with her own brother as early as highschool (she hinted at the fact that her first boyfriend looked a lot like MC as a reason for her dating him at all). I get it, sometimes these things just happen, but they don't normally happen - so something abnormal has to happen in order to trigger those emotions in siblings (abandoned by parents/forced to live apart...). As it stands, Haley appears to have just fallen in love with her brother naturally, as if that happens quite often between siblings that grow up closer than usual. That's what I always say that distinguishes Haley's Story from a ton of other sister-incest stories - it is love. Don't overthink this. You note that these things don't normally happen. You could say that the parents' willful ignorance of their children's behaviour proved to be the fatal mistake that spawned the fertile ground for MC & Haley's relationship to grow to unhealthy levels, but even that is stretching it. Especially since the father was not amused when he eventually grew suspicious of their night-time proclivities.
Do you always love somebody for a reason? What was the reason for love between Romeo and Juliet? There was no reason, in fact everything was against it. For me this story about forbidden love is equally toughing,I wouldn't say their love is well written, as we aren't given any believable reason as to why Haley is in love with her brother
Exactly! We play these games because they show us something we don't normally have in normal life. Harem, incest, various sorts of kinks. If it was for traditional relationships we could just watch some boring Hollywood love story.Don't overthink this. What happened to cause them to fall in love might not be normal, but it is not impossible.
I agree, but the cause is in question for this game... what caused Haley to fall in love with her own brother?Don't overthink this. You note that these things don't normally happen. Just consider that it happening in this case is one of those abnormal things.

May be because she was abused at the young age made her distrust any men but her closest family members. Certainly that story had to do something with her brotherly loveI agree, but the cause is in question for this game... what caused Haley to fall in love with her own brother?
Now, you could say love is love - it doesn't need a reason.
But I would argue that such abnormal love (as depicted here) should definitely have a reason for being; A reason behind the abnormality.
It's a small nitpick of mine, though.
Not with me it's not.I agree, but the cause is in question for this game...
