Not every character can be totally complient, with thoughts only for the MC at all times. I see this same attitude in threads all around here. Anytime a female character shows a little independence or spunk, all these people show up in the thread and start expressing how they feel emasculated, I guess, by the characters' mere presense in the game. How strange. I really don't get it.

I think my post was reasonable and polite. Why my post were deleted and theirs continue there. Isn't off topic to assume about people the way they are doing?

It's not like I'm upset. I just want to know why is my post off topic, and theirs are not.

I'm not sure I like the direction the game took with the last update.

Part of the appeal with this game was that the premise for the characters was very humble. They're in a halfway house, they're a long way from sci-fi, magic, anime-esque crime families, undercover spies and save-the-world schemes etc etc Which was great! It really set this game apart and meant it could just focus on the characters without the need for some hackneyed Hollywood plot.

....and then episode 8 comes along and all of a sudden it's a Cinderella story.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I'm still hopeful since Ashley isn't my main focus, but we'll see.

An amazing game, a simple but addicting story, with interesting living characters. Although... I already wrote this a few updates ago xD

The only thing I would like to change is renders, or presentation of scene with "help" by Samantha, before Emily brings her laptop. Perhaps this is exactly what the developer intended, but in my opinion it is rather rude and ugly in terms of the situation and visually.

Guys, can anyone help with the tags for the instrumental tracks? I would like to know who the performers are in order to properly arrange the "soundtrack" for myself. In addition to the title theme from the menu, I am aware of it. thank

Still good but after 6 month only a "touching boobs scene" and a lot of dialogues about the grandfather's legacy.

Emily= Shy cute virgin who is planned to be the main love interest but the progress with that seems way to damn slow.
Ashley= Complete whore and the sexually active instigator. Has no value as a character.
And the Landlady is just the classic lonely woman in need of attention that every game has but since shes not a possible love interest she is just a waste of time.
If Emily is to he considered the true love interest something needs to happen soon 8 episodes with lack of decent content for the main love interest and focusing mainly on side characters who have no true value feels like wasted time.

My prob is if emily is fast paced to having full pen sex instead of easing into it,say next like oral at a virgin state or vibe something that dont just goes all in,otherwise the game becomes just another may skip all the content just for interactions and would ruin it I think for me anyways.
Ashley gets most of the attention/action in the game and not a breathing moment for the MC/guy with em or the landlady ect
(yet both em and landlady does in ashley scenes ) and ashley again seems to be the main focus going into ep9 so I agree..But yeah the landlady is milf so it wont get anywhere but sex and a goodbye

There's a heartbeat sound that starts the first night when Luis shows up in the mc's room and continues for the next several days. Is there some way I can turn this sound off short of turning down the main volume all the way?

Is it just me or does anyone else also face this issue; I cannot progress to Episode 8. I get my Relationship Report of Episode 7 and then the closing slide of the dev saying that's all for this update. There is no episode 8. I even tried playing from the start and skipped my way to the end of E07, no luck. Can anyone help me out, please?

and you are not using any (outdated) mods or so...
and you have downloaded ep8 version from here/op?

Yes I downloaded the latest compressed file from MEGA and I am using OscarSix's mod which is also updated to 0.8
Shall I redownload everything (if the new update is big enough to warrant a re-download)?
