For some reason when it asked me that, I had flashbacks to old MGS bosses (Psycho Mantis, anyone?) causing static, input and volume problems, and requiring you to unplug your controller. Was a pleasant reminder of things I haven't thought about in years.
It seems like a ren'py game being able to check directories to determine current username is a relatively non-invasive operation. I mean shit, the Happenstance folder is already residing within my "Business Travel Receipts - DEFINITELY NOT PORN" folder, so it's kinda already located in the most sensitive location on my pc.
Although granted I don't keep financial records or sensitive personal info on my designated porn hard drive; got enough devices that I don't have to stress that much if a sketchy download forces me to format the drive- it'll just make me spend weeks re-downloading my disturbingly extensive game library.

Zeid (MC) also deeply cares for her given how he goes from being cool to completely losing his mind as soon as the villian mentions Alice during their fight. Personally I'm more interested in Zeid's interactions with Alice rather than Elly/Elise.I doubt it. She seems to be too in love with her brother, to leave her kitty intact after such commentary
