Tue Dec 18 07:55:24 2018I played through ME2 and ME3 (Didn't like ME1 at all) in anticipation for Andromeda. I had never played any ME before and Andromeda hyped me up enough to play ME2 and 3
ME2 was an amazing game. And holy shit was Andromeda bad compared to it. I still beat it, but the characters were no where near ME2's level of design. I didn't give a shit about a single one of them. So yeah, I would never touch Andromeda haha.
This error is out of my control, I have no idea what it is. It seems to be something about a corrupt download.

I personally think that the writer/creator should be free explore whatever they feel would be right for the story, the whole point of telling one is to evoke emotion after all, as long as they don't go jumping off the deep end or something.
While I do understand some of the points here that fap material would be the last place for too heavy a plot development, the VN platform is one specifically for telling a story. However, I'd like to point out that a sandbox/trainer game might not have the suitable atmosphere to properly carry potentially serious storytelling; at least, I've always felt that Harem Hotel was more of a lighthearted presentation even if the setting has elements like widespread racial slavery.
As for my actual feelings on the subject, I can take some "dark" and/or sad plot development in my porn story as long as I know it'll have a relatively "happy" denouement if I end up caring about the characters. The knowledge of one of my beloved girls dying would put a damper on me enjoying her character, however; I didn't even want to bother with Terra in Something Unlimited because I knew she was going to die even if she ends up getting "resurrected" through a clone.
Much like the parents in Silent Hill: Homecoming, it's hard to love someone you know will have to disappear... though that's a bad analogy, now that I think about it. But if you feel you can execute it well, I say go for it.

Anyway, the new content seems to be shaping up quite well though I haven't done a lot of the events as I've been finishing up unlocking the traits. I know it's a leaked version, but November and December so far have been quite dry in good updates/releases so this was really great.
I have to ask though: how do you unlock Kali's anal and Maria's cunnilingus options? Was unlocking them tied to their story events? If that's the case, I might have missed them so I hope not.
I've been told by other developers that November is the month when the least amount of pledges and financial support comes through due to the Holidays. I can agree with this as I've seen very little growth in November compared to my other months. I was recommended to take a break in November due to this. But I didn't. Maybe I should have, but It doesn't really change anything for me. So, that may be why you see less content in November.
Kali's anal event is tied to her latest event in v0.5. The event that gets her to Friendship 22.
Maria's cunnilingus event is her first event in v0.5. That event gets her to Friendship 21.
If you've somehow gotten past this friendship without seeing these events, please let me know. It seems there are many people above the threshold for Friendships and are curious as to why they're not seeing events, but nobody has told me how they've gotten impossible friendship numbers.
I assume they've cheated, which is fine by me of course, but if they didn't cheat at all, then this is a very serious bug.

i wish i knew when to stop, because i got Lin(Best girl, i still wish for the blonde version of Lin, also, she's been calling me Husband since the star of the game, if think everyone will know who i choose as a waifu, her sluttiness is at a massive 167) at level 24, kali(she's ok...i like her sister more, also she has the only slutty outfit i like, i marked her as 5th best her sister is in 7th) at 22, Ashley(she's also ok, i like her being crazy, she at 6th) at 27, Maria(gon be honest, she quite close to the bottom of my list she's 11th) is at 22, Android(worst girl, that face just won't agree with me personally, she's the last) at 23, Felicity(my 3rd best girl, i just like her) is at 19, Emma(2nd best girl, she's just adorable) also at 19, Autumm(she's annoying she's at 10th) at level 9 and Violet(i wish she was cannon, i neeeeeed it she my 4th girl), then there's secretary woman(i know she has a name) at 8th, the elf collective (it just seems appropriate to put them all together) is stranded in 9th...that being said in on day 155 i think, i'm speedrunning this game

Yes but you are comparing real life with a game, with a form of entertainment. Also death is unavoidable in real life, if there was a way to avoid it, pretty much everyone would, especially for their loved ones. We can say goodbye to the game and characters without seeing each of their graves in the end.
There are about a hundred different problems with modern Hollywood, the least of which is them giving off happy endings more so then tragedies. Some of my favorite movies are tragedies, in fact Braveheart is one of my favorite films of all time and we all know how that ends. But there is a difference between experiencing a very heavy film that tells the story of William Wallace and playing a porn game were you essentially insert yourself as the main character of the story with a reasonable amount of control over the said story. This is not to diminish anything here, will there be a game like this that makes me actually emotional and pulls on my heart strings the way some other forms of entertainment have? Sure, is it really all that necessary? Not really. To me at least and i would bet to many people here, this is a form of escapism.
And i would agree with @Runey that sadness and some tragic moments are not only acceptable here but could be very good for the game. Things like that bring people closer together, can build character and can make you come out stronger and more determined in the end, there is nothing more satisfying than overcoming an obstacle. There are a few characters here that could have proper sad moments like Ashley who obviously has a problem with her parents and currently seems to have something that is hard on her mind, Maria who also is going though an identity crisis, the 2 twins who are very tragic when you think about it since they are clones their father made as a replacement for the real thing, Lin who is essentially a slave and her entire race are nothing but slaves which is really fucked up but isn't treated too seriously in the game which is good. I mean imagine if this had more realism, these girls would be raped constantly, beaten, killed off, literally abused in any way possible to the point of many of them killing themselves just to escape their faith, these are some really heavy subjects. Do we really wanna explore those things between the random wanks we have? I really wouldn't.
So there is a shift in perspective thats very jarring when you go from spending days building up traits like turning the character into a slut, or even a butt slut, forcing them to take their clothes off in public and have even sex there, literally have a BDSM dungeon you play with them in to suddenly witnessing them die in some very sad emotional character moment. It's such a dramatic shift in tone going from watching the character drink semen 15 min prior to holding them in your arms as they wither away. I dunno... it just doesn't seem right to me.
Anyway i will no longer talk on this subject, I have said all i wanted to say and i dont want to clog up the thread anymore. I came here to relieve some stress, not build more of it lol.

Gotta admit, not a fan of Autumn. Looks wise she's amazing. The moment she starts speaking I want to throat punch her. The kind of hard core bible thumper that has to shove their views down your throat. If there was a way to boot her ass out of the hotel, I'd have done it already. I have zero patience for religious nut jobs like that. Believe what you want but be respectful about it.
Good! Her being annoying is what I'm going for. But in a way that that everyone understands she's annoying. Most of the characters dislike her because she's a religious nutjob. The MC even has choices to tell her to shut the fuck up about her religious nonsense.
What I'm building here is the same thing I built with the Twins. I'm making the apple sweeter, so to speak. I'm trying to build a rewarding corruption towards them. Felicity hated your guts and now she wants to be your pet. The same concept will be applied to Autumn.
I hope I was successful in making it clear to the player that yes, she's annoying, and yes, you're going to change that.
I would love it if you joined the public discord, you're feedback is amazing.

One part of me giving her such a good body was to sort of hold you over until the corruption begins and hopefully make you think it'll be worth it once she's on her knees.
So, I hope I didn't turn you off with her annoyingness. At least not so much that you think you'll stop playing through her story. While sex may not happen for a long while, she'll definitely tone it down in v0.6

It's mainly a personal annoyance on my part. I'm non-religious and while I respect other people's religion's and stay out of religious discussions, I've been the target of a lot of 'you should do this because my faith is right' kind of people. So her personality (thus far) struck a nerve. Still, I know it's a slow burn with her so I'll tap into my patience reserve for that

Being an atheist i can relate to the way you feel. However i think i can tell the direction this is going in, so i look forward to "loosening up" Autumn, which is pretty much inevitable otherwise we wont get to sex her. In fact i can tell you that this just makes me more excited because there is no way i will miss an opportunity to turn a stereotypical Bible thumper into a perverse girl. She is also a LOT more understanding and open right off the bat than your average Evangelical that takes the Bible too seriously, she just seems to be confused and sheltered so all of this is new to her, so she isn't bigoted as much as she is confused by everything.
Besides, in case people couldn't tell my preference already by my signatures, we need more redheads in the game damn it, don't kick them out lol.

i agree, Autumm makes you want to throw the book on her and say "EAT IT AND SHUT UP ABOUT IT", also on the subject of pregnancy and death(that just rolls of the tongue), there are some people i really want pregnant( Lin, Emma, Felicity, Kali, Violet, Lucia and surprisingly enough Maria, because she had that thing about not cumming inside of her) some people i'm indifferent about it (secretary lady, Ashley, Autumn, jin and the elf collective, sounds like a band) and some i hope they won't get pregnant( Android, i would rather not have a toaster as a baby and maybe Autumn a little bit, what if the child is like her, i would have to say it "shit, it's retarded! We gotta throw it back")
