thank you for the update and i find the size just fine i mean anything under 5g i find kinda small but i am running a 3tb system so that might be why lol anyway keep up the good work and plz never stop working on this game it's one of my favorites

Yeah, I prefer the high quality too, I wouldn't even mind the full 60g. XD
My porn drive alone is 8tb.

I have never uploaded just the update files. Actually, I have no clue of anyone on this site that does that . It's not impossible though. I've explained it before, but the gist of it is that it's just not worth the trouble for most people, including me.

Very, very few devs update patches. They are a pain to make.

It looks like you've used an unofficial translation not supported in this update and it's corrupted your save.

Using unofficial mods from galleries to translations is a user risk the devs can't do anything about, they don't make the mods.

Use them at your own risk.

I have never uploaded just the update files. Actually, I have no clue of anyone on this site that does that . It's not impossible though. I've explained it before, but the gist of it is that it's just not worth the trouble for most people, including me.

Aren't update patches a lot less reliable as well? I recall dozens of posts regarding the 0.8.1->0.8.2 patch that were fixed by simply downloading fresh 0.8.2.. and I'm pretty sure that's a Renpy issue, not a developer issue.

From mirror on Patreon for the first time and from NOPY for the second. And the problem still the same.

Honeslty, no, I don't know. There's almost 15,000 1920x1080 pictures, including animations. The game itself is bigger than the harry potter books. The images aren't even .jpgs or .pngs anymore because .webp is more efficient.

The game should even net you at least 10 hours of play. I think Middle Earth at 97GB net me 27 hours of gameplay.

Who's complaining about a game at 5GB nowadays when we have updates for CoD at 60GB alone? I understand not everyone has amazing internet, but the download is as small as I can get it without harming the image quality.

To be honest, i find 5 GB quite very dam small, but that's because i'm "quality addicted" and i would take anytime huge sized files over small ones. I mean, i wont even bother downloading a movie if it isn't at least 60 GB in size. ^_^
Also, if peoples have slow internet connection, that's their problem, not the creator's.
That's how i see it. Quality above everything else <3

well thats unfortunate, this one will have to go in my long line of game que as well then cause my internet is slow as hell lol. ill just likely have to wait to play this till its done.

The patch was my fault, it wasn't as bug free as the main downloads, but nobody took it down unfortunately.

Haha, it's great to have nice internet, I wish everyone could get great internet. Before I moved for work, I was at 300KB/s download 75KB/upload, so I understand the struggle. Games in general are getting much bigger but internet in rural places aren't (rooting for you Elon)

That storyline isn't finished. I guess this whole boat adventure is more of a story arc. You will be teleported to the boat to continue where you left off once the rest is complete!
