These things can be delayed a little bit whenever major discussions crop up (like the current one regarding the girls' characteristics). Then it's just a matter of how soon one of the "kids" can find an opening in the "grown-ups" discussion.

It really is. You have to let loose your inhibitions and insecurities in order to write it well, otherwise it'll come across as either 1) heavy-handed/overcompensating, 2) awkward and unnatural, or 3) not going far enough, i.e. not all that sexy. It takes a certain sense of perpetual confidence and endurance that's a bit different than any other genre because of the stigma/societal hang ups.
wow, lol chill man. I'm just saying how I feel. I also never said all the dialogue was bad or anything, just at times it comes across as stuff a woman would never say.

Oh, a woman could definitely say that sort of thing. It just depends on their personality. Just like how a guy can talk sweetly, a girl can totally talk more aggressively. I knew a girl in high school who joined the football team (american football) and swore like a sailor. Once she bought an entire pizza to class and ate like half of it.
Sorry, I didn't mean to come across as abrasive or so condescending. It's just the writer and Adderall in me going off on a tangent and idea. It's been awhile since I'd been in a writing group and this just got my juices flowing.
You're completely allowed to have your opinions and everyone's sincere and genuine interpretation of art is valid----the death of the author.

i clarified it a bit to not necessarily mean swearing. Bottom line is, some dialogue seems a little corny for a female to be saying, or even how they act at times. I've noticed this a lot in these kinds of games. This is just my opinion, and there's no reason to get mad at someone for sharing an opinion.
It's very difficult for a man to write a female, that's a pretty established fact. It should be no surprise that sometimes a female character written by a dude isn't going to always seem right.

I grew up with a few girls similar to a lot of the girls in this - it's not unrealistic of them at all... It's just personal experience. Can't say I know many Kali's (though I'm sure nerd girls are dime a dozen for you younger folks) or a devout Christian like Aubrey but the rest? I see others in them and yes that includes one like Ashley but Ashley is much tamer version of th girl I knew. Gotta admit honestly if you took away the fantasy stuff and the fact every type here would be attracted to same guy is say the writing is in fact very realistic on a character by character basis despite them all being very different (excluding freed slaves, hard to judge those as being realistic for obvious reasons)
Swearing or no, you're still projecting your own ideals of a fantasy woman from your own culture onto other women, even if they aren't real. Yes, they are written by man, but they're written to be female. They don't say "Oh hey bro, you want a brojob? haha just kidding, would totally smash tho." That's frat talk.
I could have written to be much more stereotypical, but I didn't. (Even though they are built off female stereotypes like Yandere) I'm totally fine with you thinking they aren't feminine enough for your own tastes in certain areas, to each their own. But saying "women don't act like that" is a bit ignorant. I think it's obvious to most these are women being women and not acting like men or something.
But if you have any specific examples of dialog that seems out of place, I'm happy to take a look at it.

Yeah, and that is just the sex scenes, you need a decent story too if you want to make a good game, and making those things merge into something cohesive.
