for the love of god... make the fights go faster! when there is a fight i don't get worried in the sense of "oh, no, this might be a challenge" i get worried in the sense of "UUUUUUGH, great, another 5 minutes on a fight i could've ended in 30 seconds."

MY FUCKING GOD THE WHOLE REASON I KEEP LOSING IN THIS GAME IS BECAUSE IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY FUCKING MONEY AT ALL
For all of those complaining about the money, open the save folder and search for this section. Just below the name of your player, the value is the money. I added up 999,999 and that seems to be plenty to keep well stocked up in revives and fresh milk to stop poison.
Just tried it, and it refuses to load that save because of compatibility issue. Tried on the main save file, and auto save file.
I kinda think you're trying to load a .11 save into a .12 game. If not case be sure to not place any space nor anything in there, just the number.
There's a censored mode to be videostreaming friendly in case you want to play it in some site that doesn't allow NSFW things.
Am i the only one who actually like the combat style and quick time events? It reminds me to Mario & Luigi games. I like standard rpg too, but sometimes it just get kinda boring after playing a few hours by only selecting the same/strongest attack and winning with no effort at all.

If you played pokemon and liked it, then you just need to open up settings and select the faster battle speed there.

I'd say almost certainly, yes, you are the only one. The combat system and grindy nature are one of the most common complaints about this game. In earlier version (10.x-11.x) combat was near-impossible until you somehow got a bit of money to stock up on potions, or used debuffs. I think in 11.4 he nerfed the early encounters so it's not as difficult now.
I hate the quick-time event stuff, because I just don't like rhythm games. Thankfully, there's an option to turn that part off, for players like me.
Dev plans on making combat entirely avoidable in a later version. Random encounters will be replaced with monster icons on the dungeon tiles. Also, inventory will be divided into categories rather than one long list.

I played the earlier versions, combat did indeed take some time. The whole problem about money etc. is not to my understanding. I was drowning in money. Understand the mechanics, and know which traits are awesome. The spin wheel can be gamed entirely, if you and plan a little.

I mean... people getting stuck into the combats seems like weird. Sure, when you download this kind of game you expect to be half game with hands in your junk instead of actually playing but... 10 potions, getting the cow girl and then getting 10 fresh milks while using the cowgirl to heal the party is my rock solid strategy and never had any problem advancing.
Again, I understand that you don't want to have actual gameplay but that's Ren'Py VN's faults. Or maybe I grew used to eroges like the Rance series, Kamidori Alchemy Meister or so where you had to earn those sweet CGI's
