Reading this made me wonder what really makes good game. I really enjoy dungeon crawlers, especially when I need some distraction from my work. From erotic games I played i.e. Rance 6, Bunny black, mozzoloh, (not counting rpgm games). All those games have extensive customisation available in base and then exploration with relatively fast skirmishes during exploration. Also this way I can play with what game has to offer 'offline' and then test my setup on battlefield.
So far this game has no customisation, so aspect I like the most is taken away.
Ok my personal take of what makes both regular games and adult in particular, good. Which turned out to be quite longer than I expected. Sorry, no tl;dr, it's kinda hard to express my thought's on the subject in just a few sentences.
When it comes to erotic/adult games, there are extremely few (imo) that offer a complete package of good gameplay, good writing/storytelling/world-building and has great smut at the same time. A good indicator of a game hitting those points, is when you suddenly find yourself looking at the clock and hours have gone by without you noticing. For example, lets say you play a game that doesn't look that great when you first load it up, but if it's addictive enough for someone to completely lose track of time, then it's probably hitting one or more of those points. Now, if the game also hit the other important points such as great smut, good gameplay and storytelling to go along with that, you have yourself a good game. And if you have some great art (this game has it, which is it's only advantage so far) assets, well, then you're set for success!
That's not all though, even if you create a game with good gameplay, a good and intriguing story and hot sexy scenes and writing, you also have to factor in the game's fetishes. So even if the game is fun to play and has some truly hot sexy stuff going on, if the fetishes doesn't match your own and/or has even enough of them to turn you off, then the game is worthless to the player who doesn't like those particular fetishes, despite it being godly to the people who likes those fetishes.
That's my opinion when it comes to erotic/adult games anyway. When it comes to gaming in general, the genres I mostly play are rpg's, strategy and sim games. And of the 1000's of different adult/erotic games I've played the past 5-6 years since I discovered the wonderful world of adult computer games, there are only a few that I consider to be exceptional.
Hell, my personal favorite when it comes to adult games is still "

", which is a mod for Neverwinter Nights 1, a game that was released way back in 2002, when Bioware didn't suck and wasn't bought by EA and turned into shit like all other gaming company's bought by EA. However that mod had it all, I mean the complete package of an amazing storytelling, amazing gameplay, a truly well though out setting/world-building + lot's and lot's of hot sexy stuff going on. Not to mention it's filled with so many hidden gems to find everywhere you least expect it. Some of the dungeons in the game can take hours to complete, which requires you to really think, explore, go back and try again when you fail, and there are quite a few of them in the game. Want choices that actually matters? Yup, this game has it too, not the kind that changes very little on the surface but actual choices that matters when it comes to characters and the plot. You mentioned customization? Yep, it's here too, since it's created with the mod tools Bioware released with the original game, the options available in-game are vast. The story is actually so damn good that it better than like 99% of all the normal rpg's I've played. If you compare it with the regular story in Nwn 1, A dance with rogues is better
in every single way. However, you do play as a female character, so unless you like or do not mind playing as one, the game would probably suck to someone who doesn't like that, despite it's many great points. Not to mention the graphics, which by today's standard looks very dated.
