Sure, Sarah was completely oblivious to Annie and the MC, but I suspect Chris knew exactly what she was doing.

I think it wouldn't. I think Chris was in control and just playing with both Sarah and the MC and that she would break it herself at some point.

My canon is : mc shoots Chris's husband. He and the whole intrepid plus Kelly settle on ophion and make the first generation of ophion born humans

Hell, if we can't solve what's causing everything to go Bermuda Triangle around Ophion that may not even be required. Massive system failures on the Intrepid may just take care of that (getting rid of Chris's husband) for us. (This is not a good thing.) Of course, with as low of a human population as currently exist on Ophion, everyone would need to contribute (sorry, Mike, just jerk it and break out the turkey baster) if there is to be any chance of a surviving population past a generation or two. (Some DNA editing could also come in handy.)

Why do I get the feeling we are writing H5 fanfic in committee right now? @Nottravis may be pleased, or maybe not? Some authors are good with it, others feel it sullies their art. Not sure what side of this Notty comes down on, but if I suspect she'd be okay if we silly her art at least.
