Not really. It should be perfectly contained story with just one playthrough in the end. But, if you want to know more, there's no way around it. That's the 'game' part of this VN, making choices.
This chapter "only" covers the one day, from when Chris wakes you up at the end of chapter 2 until night. I guess what DorcasAurelia meant was "chapter 2" and "chapter 3" instead of "day 2" and "day 3".
That it's the biggest, funniest and sexiest of all the chapters. And there's so much of new lore and mysteries... Future looks very bright! (for me, for the characters probably not so much)
