If there was a red button there i am sure Mike would have pressed it already.Oh I'm-sure- none of you would fall for any obvious traps
And yet you all give Mike a hard time over his lever!
That's pretty.Of course...

Yep! I do have a year but it didn't seem that important tbh.Nottravis So, about that year in which the game takes place...surely you wouldn't leave that unanswered, would you?![]()
I don't. All I do is ask about the in-game year and all I get is mockery.Of course...

The number is not important, but could it be...?Yep! I do have a year but it didn't seem that important tbh.
Enjoy the show!In other words, now's your chance to make fun of me.
Just found my newest tattoo.Of course...

Well, I don't know... how am I to make decisions if I don't even know what the year is... If that got out, all hard earned respect would go poof.Yep! I do have a year but it didn't seem that important tbh.

I loved that show when I was a kid (70's, original airing), but the shapeshifter gave me nightmares...even if I thought she was super-hot, as hot as a 7 year old can find a shapeshifting woman. Oh, okay, I just realized I started out pretty fucked up, so no wonder I'm here today.
But there is already 2150 year, by which the I-class ships were built and launched. What's the harm in clarifying the current year? I don't get this at all.View attachment 365532
This is a good example of why you don't put the year on sci fi.
So, I have a year jotted down somewhere. But it's not really important to the story.
My fear is once I date it then you can end up with random nit picking over scientific development, time and distance calculations and all sorts of non relevant things.
So much better for me to not give a date.
They could have been in service for decades or centuries though, let's just say the year is after 2150But there is already 2150 year, by which the I-class ships were built and launched. What's the harm in clarifying the current year? I don't get this at all.
Well, this is sensible enough.View attachment 365532

Not good enough. It's immersion breaking not to know such basic information...They could have been in service for decades or centuries though, let's just say the year is after 2150![]()
Because then I would have to have enough astro physics to work out how long it would get to the system with Ophion, know the exact propulsion speed of the ships, establish how long each colony was set up including how long that would take etc.....But there is already 2150 year, by which the I-class ships were built and launched.
