Well, that was short-lived. Got chased out of the yard - ground nest of yellow-jackets. >.<

Notty, if there are hornet-like, ground-nesting, flying insects on Ophion that cause nasty, painful stings I will seriously consider taking back every nice thing I ever said about you unless their reveal comes with a flame-thrower.
Wait until night, boil some water and then add dish soap to it, stir it up until sudsy and pour it down the nest. The heat will kill, and the soap removes the oil on their body that keeps their air holes clear, so they drown, may want to throw something heavy on top of the opening to make sure they are stuck with it.
