I did, but the way DoorDash works - you order online, it goes through DoorDash, they call the order in to the restaurant - they called in the wrong order. I'm never using them again. I'll just go back to dealing with traffic and picking it up myself, assuming I haven't run my battery flat :-/

I'll call for a jump in the morning and drive around for a bit, she'll be charged right back up.

My car's hatchback was left open in the garage some time yesterday, so now the battery is completely flat. Silly me, I closed the back (manually) before calling my kid for a jump - they don't have cables, and the ones I have are in the storage compartment in the back under the floor - requires opening the hatchback... which I can't do with no power. *needs a facepalm emoji*

I hope you left it open yourself.
But if this happens again (especially during cold or wet weather): This is something that happened on my moms' Nissan Micra as well, and several garages went over the ENTIRE car looking for electronic leaks, bad software, bad motherboards and whatnot, but it was *just* the tiny electronic switch component of the lock itself that had to be replaced. It's not an exactly common problem, but it is a component on Nissans that seems a bit more prone to wear out than the rest of the electronics. Cheapest bet is going to a garage that is NOT a Nissan dealer, so they're not required to follow standard guidelines for finding problems with the car, and can just unplug the whole lock (so the hatchback won't work and stays locked) for a while to see whether it happens again. If it doesn't happen anymore, then just have it replaced (~$80 at the garage, $30 if to DIY).

Better off with an internal SSD for a game like that.

Not sure , since not tried it yet, but with an external SSD drive with a new USD 3.2 connection you should hardly be able to notice the difference. Well still room for another internal SSD drive on motherboard for new computer so will be a while before I try it. Do have to say though that current generation of SSD drives are very affordable and the performance is insanely better.

The cannon explanation for this is that no doubt the guy who wrote the fanfic has a Thea crush and so thought "why not!"

The real explanation is, since the Thea model won't be used again and since some of you were rather keen on her, it's a little fan service nod.

But, to be totes clear, there's no plot reason for this. I really only used her for this (with diffo hair etc) as you seemed to like the model and the SP book is only a one off

I remember a documentary about Rembrandt not that long ago where one of the specialists on him said that besides his technical skill and eye his biggest talent was that he knew when a painting was finished and told what he wanted the paining to tell. Unfortunately his clients did not always agree.

We know that you are back in business, we also know that you have an emergency standby in case of emergencies... I mean no-one panicked when you weren't here for a few days this week! So take as long as you need (within reason, we want CH4 this year after all. )

Yeah I know and understand that drive all too well and it is a strength overall, but only when keep it in check I learned the hard way a few times . You have a very ambitious and interesting project with a potato for a pc If I just compare my current pc to old one the differences are really insane and I just build a budget gaming pc. The thing is though one should always keep an eye on the end price, the steps in between are just a means to get there and should never become as important.

Edit: Besides I would never worry about you putting out shoddy renders, that would make you more unhappy as it would make us.

This is where I would tell you that we will wait as long as needed and that you shouldn't push yourself too hard, but If I were in your situation, I would race to get it out by the end of the month for the same reason as well.

All I can do is cheer for you and wish that you won't have any major issues popping up. However, if the render hamster somehow doesn't make it in time, we will still know you did your best.

But seriously, I doubt anyone most of us want you to rush. Just do what you need to do.
