Well someone was lying to someone for sure.
But really. can you blame him? He has to live there, next to her and her husband... if outright rejects her he has to live with her possibly taking it out on him, and if he accepts he has to worry that her husband (the station's doctor, no less) might find out - and then who knows what kind of "vitamins" he'd end up taking.

Lying was probably seen as the easier way out.

OR -

He flat-out rejected her and she concocted the whole thing in order to salvage her own ego - in which case she will probably say the same about the MC later if he rejected her.

Notty, you hate how other games do things right ? In other games another male is someone to either be a rival or a fool to be made fun of. And that's why Mike got all the hate, but... what if that thought process is dangerous... if he was to be seen as nothing but an opponent trying to cuck MC, it would mean that the dames had no agency nor opinion besides the player's input.. And this is not that kind of game...
No one should have Trisha thrown at them...
Throwing cows at enemies was used in fiction to demoralize enemy morale. But since Notty wrote her, Trisha will be someone important for the survival. Did I mention she's the only one thinking that the problem is within the software ?

That is spectacular! (except for Mike reading on the job, I know he only has the one job, but he can't even do that right!)

If Trisha pounced on you like that, what would you do? WWMD? lol Mike could be the key to this whole mess  Or... a massive red herring from Notty :devilish::unsure:

You're quite right when you say this isn't that type of game - with regards to why characters are there, that is. Mike is a bloke with a job to do on a planet with a bunch of people. He, like they, will react according to what's happening with their own drives as a boundary/decider.

As to what happens down there....not up to me :)
