Just on characters generally...

I think I've said this before but probs worth mentioning again. With my characters being more fleshed out and with greater depth than your average porn game characters there is an awful lot that neither you nor the MC know.

As the game progresses, you may well find out more about them - you may not. Your mileage may vary.

But I will promise you several things here and now.

1. My characters will -always- behave consistently to their own rules. Sometimes it may not seem like it, but that is just down to you not knowing everything.

2. I will try to mindfuck you with your own likely assumptions about them (a girl has to have her fun too, no?)

3. I will also toy mercilessly with you, for my own entertainment, in respect of getting you to like/dislike characters and then dropping some other knowledge or scene in which changes your opinion. (a girl has to have...oh, I did that one). BUT they will be behaving consistently.

In respect of some of the heavier more serious paths in H5 (and remember all paths are optional)

4. On some paths I will break your heart.

5. On some paths I will tempt you to make decisions which, if you make them, I doubt very much you'll tell anyone here you did...

I just want to expand on this a bit if I may before I turn in.

I often use the phrase "your game..." and I mean it. By this I want -your- experience of H5 to be what you want it to be as much as possible. So yes, you get your orders and yes, you fly on the Vanguard etc. Those plot beats can't be ignored. But I also want your experience of the game to be tailored to the type of game you want to play.

You want a light hearted romp with silly jokes? Please step this way....
You want a darker, serious, story where you may end up with blood on your hands? Ah, that will be this table over here...
You just want a pure romance story? Over here please....

All in the same game.

Hugely, stupidly ambitious I know. And yet it's plotted out, structured and just needs me and and the hamster to get our shit together and make the bloody pictures for it...
