But why? There's nothing particularly anime-inspired in the game, nor even really much in the way of overlapping themes between the two stories (granted, I've never read the manga which apparently has a much longer story). And most people probably won't immediately get the reference or read Japanese, so visually it just obscures the actual title.

Definitely British as well, or at best a 2nd generation immigrant Aussie with pure British parents. Only British shorten lipstick to "lippy".
Maybe she grew up in the Canadian wastes, explains weapon use, her love for mounting (mounty) and being a beaver trapper.
