Wow! You and br0nt are so full of analogies and comparisons today huh? It's cute. Sadly none of those situations really fit. No one is contracting the dev. Are you on drugs? Why make the Plumber comparison? The dev is literally a store front. Sure, this Dev's products look shinier than others, but they all get the job done, just a little differently. Not only that, but the costumer service in other stores is better too. Not only that, but the other shops also offer more deals and give them more insight on how products are made/imported. Something closer to an analogy you could use is that this dev is a store with limited costumers so they aren't making enough money to sustain themselves. They tell the current customers, we might have to close down if we don't have more customers/purchases... the difference is... there are a MILLION STORES around them. Learn to make an applicable analogy please.

I looked forward to Primal Instincts. I feel he deserved so much more support for that game. But no one has a RIGHT to be supported.
They all operate on the same principle, it's just that this particular has it all laid black on white, something that can't be said about most of the developers on the platform.
Most of the time you don't even get a warning and sometimes it takes months for you to realize that the game has been abandoned long ago, and you're just paying for nothing.

Often times you see people complaining about the lack of transparency from the developers, and this is a step towards that.

Look, I can agree to disagree with you. And I agree to a certain extent about expectation and entitlement. However, I will say that people are different. Some people love "straight talkers" whatever the flying fuck that means. They accept when people tell the truth even if they are assholes. Yet, on the otherside of the coin, there are people that understand that people have different hopes, dreams and monetary situations. Those Devs choose to look at people and patrons as humans. This Dev is not. He's treating them as a number. I don't like being treated like a number. I don't like seeing others be treated like a number. You clearly are okay with it and that's fine. But that's an disagreement of opinion not a fact. If what you mean by honest you mean he admits it? Then sure, he's a straight talker, but other Devs aren't somehow schemers because they don't say "Fuck you give me money" like this Dev likes to say. I said that other Devs don't treat them like a number, to delve further into the truth, it's more realisitc to say, they don't ONLY see them as a number. They clearly are numbers. Because they can be tracked and datafied. But I don't see Killer7, NaughtyRoad and ViNovela treating them like that's ALL they are. In fact, even if they had a moderate support base, they would do it because they enjoy telling their story or kinks in ViNovela's case.

Anyone who abandons their Patrons and leaves their game without warning sucks and don't deserve to be heard. However, this Dev doing the bare minimum by telling them ahead of time that they might not finish their project is not a noble thing to do. Don't glorify it.

It's not about the right to make money or not. But the dev is considering it the wrong way : if you don't want to work a lot on the project because you don't get enough support, then just work at your pace until you get more support and can work more on it. And not the opposite where you want money first to know how much you'll work on it. Otherwise you don't do this hobby. I know he wants to quit his "normal" job to work full time on these porn games but that's not the right attitude.

And don't pretend we can't talk about it because we're on a pirate site. A lot of supporters come from here. I was a supporter myself for a couple months before he abandoned Primal Instinct.
This is very well said. for everything that has been posted around the attitude of the dev, this basically says it all without any invective. Well done. I hope the dev reads it.

meaning something really bad happen to her.. probably died.
I interpret it as being separating from her not necessarily something bad happen to her.
